hmm I've never cried at a movie but i've come close.

The Last Samurai I felt myself welling up inside at the end of that.

In King Arthur there was this one bit that almost made me cry

Lord Of the Rings the ending and when Boromir died even though I hadn't liked him throughout it.

The Butterfly Effect had a sad ending

Actually for some reason the 6th sense when he was telling his mum about grandma and seeing dead people made me well up a bit.

I didn't cry at Titanic because I didn't really like it.

Me too! ;_; that part made me and my mom bawl.

...I cry during almost all of the Disney movies. I cried when Simba's dad died in the Lion King. Damn you for making such emotional, heart-breaking moments in all of your kids' movies, Disney, DAMN YOU!
Stephen Kings's The green mile.

That was one of the most powerfull movies ever. Every single emotionial thing in the movie made me cry. Especially when that asshole killed the mouse, luckilly, that big black dude braght him back to life.
Oh, the Green Mile is a classic. I have seen it 3 times and cried every time, its the fact that John was so inoccent yet he was punished.. Sad
Has anyone seen The War? Starring Elijha Wood? Well its about a brother and sister that have a daddy that fought in the war. They go through loads of adventures and he dies...so sad! I cried more than the actors!
Pay it Forward is the worst though! Biggest tear jerker of all time.

i have been moved to cry by a few movies, but only if i'm watching them by myself. letting someone else see me cry=horror. luckily i usually watch movies by myself.

what i can think of: donnie darko, slc punk, the murder of mary phagan (so freaking depressing it's aggravating) and monster (also extremely depressing).

I love the men in Lord of the Rings. The Elves are so idle and jaded, and Boromir was just trying to save his people. With so much cut out of FotR, I found a lot fo people didn't like Boromir. I loved him, though.

I still cry whenever I see him die =( he redeemed hismelf, and he saved the Hobbitses...so brave ^.^

I also bawled my eyes out at the end of Big Fish. When they're telling the story at the end, it gets me so bad =( such a good story...

I also cried at the end of Retribution, this Horatio Hornblower movie, when my favorite character died, but no one seems to have really seen that, so I won't ruin it for anyone who might =)

Those are the only movies Wink I cried while reading The Silmarillion, though, such a sad book.

So true. The Green Mile made me cry so much. Especially at the end where they have to execute him and he goes 'I'm afraid of the dark' and all of the prison guards are crying. It's very powerful, very emotional and simply a masterpiece.

I know, they ended that movie so well. Usually when you see a movie like that, they can't finish it with making it overly comedic, or cheesy, or open-ended, but They finished Big Fish so perfectly.

I probably cried when I watched The Crow.... only because it was such a load of crap compared to the comic book <_< James O'Barr's original comic was a work of art, very symbolic and inspired, the Crow was completely impervious and so detatched from everything- lost in his personal cloud of morphine, masochism, and memories. None of this "kill the Crow's bird because it is his link to the afterlife" or "Blarg, I'm the villain from "Karate Kid" and I'm gonna murder you for petitioning against me!" or "Eric Draven: Super underground guitarist man!" crap. Favourite quote of the moment "The only thing raped and murdered in the movie The Crow was James O'Barr's original comic book"

.... That said, I still bought the movie at a garage sale for three dollars because I think that Brandon Lee was sexy.

That godforsaken What Dreams May Come made me cry like a newborn woman! I never cry during movies. Damn that movie...

I agree. I was thinking about it the other day, and besides names, the comic and the movie had absolutely nothing to do with each other. That being said, it does make a good chapter in the crow mythos though.-R

Wow, there's a lot of movies that made my cry... you know, it doesn't take a lot to make me cry... here's some I can think of...

- Radio (wow, I cried for nearly the last 10-15 minutes straight... )
- Patch Adams (he got that old lady the pool of noodles!! *wells up*)
- The Lion King (I've seen that movie probably close to 30-40 times, at least, and I still get misty when his dad dies)
- Finding Nemo (when Coral and all the eggs get eaten by that... barracuda-looking fish thing... and when he finally finds Nemo...)
- The Lord of the Rings (I cried in all those movies... *sigh*)
- The Cure (I think that's what it's called... it's about this boy with cancer, and him and his friends travel across the country because they read in a magazine that there is a doctor who has a miracle cure... and there's this thing with their shoes, it was something to remind them that they were there for each other... at the end, at the boy's funeral, the other boy goes to his coffin, takes the boy's one shoe, and puts his shoe in the boy's hand.... he then puts the boy's shoe in the river, and it floats away.. I cried a lot... that was a long time ago.. *phew*)

And I know that there is more, but I can't think about them right now... hmmm..

The Matrix Revolutions made me cry after Neo fought smith and the Machine draged him away.... oh god it still makes me cry and i watch it nearly every weekend. i start to cry when Niobe says " Neo, where ever you are.... thank you." and Morpheus looks up and the sad music starts.

Some movies that made me cry was titanic, a pokemon movie, the one where picachu leaves ash and wan't to stay with millions of picachus that were in the forest and ash runs away crying about picachu and that one song comes on and flash back, That made me cry so much i hid behind a pillow crying while watching it with my bro... he never knew about me crying Very Happy Titanic was a good one that made me cry all through out the movie... people was amazed how it touched me and they started to gigle at me for crying...

I've never cried while watching a movie... not even Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo Di Caprio. Of course, the reason I didn't probably had more to do with me laughing at how stupid the writers and director made the play. Nope, not one tear on titanic. I barely ever cry...

I'm sure you mean De' craprio, of course Laughing

O.o the passion of the christ was sad, i didn't cry, but i wanted to, i had myself packed up in the corner of the couch curled up in a ball it was so sacry, watching them nail jesus to the cross, and it actually made me believe in god, but hey it was just a movie, and it might wear off, but the whole thing made me understand that bible thing a little more, and i understood the stories. then the devil got mad, and it was because the passageway to heaven was reopened...cool!

same here! Surprised I thought I wasent gona cry (couse I dont cry in movies) but when I watched that movie 3 nights ago, I cried a couple times when the romens beat Jesus with weapons and nailed Him to the cross. Sad after the movie was over, I went to the bathroom and cried alot. . . . . but I felt better after words. Razz

but it really got me thinking tho.. like He really did went through on that just to pay our sins and come back to Him. Wink like it says in the bible John 3:16
