I've been drawing since.... 5th grade or so. Started getting serious about it in 7th grade..... and now I'm in a high school where I have three whole classes dedicated to art (and the other people in there can actually draw, too!) taught by professional artists. And in my senior year I'll take four art classes. ^_^ _________________ 222.

Sure...your putting pencil/pen to paper right? ^_^
wow my first successful thread...Ya I don't draw all the time just here and there.
when I was in grade school I use to draw Nintendo characters.. but I do more from photos now; have been trying to draw from my head but, it's harder to draw from your head then it is trying to draw from a photo.

I remember when I was in first grade we had to do this worksheet that would help us with our counting and color skills. The point was to draw x amount of balloons in the clown's hand and color them the right color. Whee, fuuuun. <_< So intead of drawing balloons in the clown's hand I would draw stick people in the background holding onto balloons and flying away, or I'd draw a hot air balloon or blimp or something. I even remember drawing those sqiggly balloon animals. I got full credit because technically I drew the right number of balloons and gave them all the right colors. My teacher showed it to my parents on open house night. They were very happy.
Otherwise, I've been drawing since about age two. My mom still has my first smiley face. It's not all that round. My stuff became more recognizeable when I was four. _________________ |

I started drawing... ummm in second grade! No, really, I did.
But... I started drawing anime/manga style about a year ago (when I was twelve, do the math)
I didn't have a teacher or anything, just some super artistic friends and a "How To Draw Manga" book. But now I have an anime/manga drawing class! YAY! Okay, sorry for going off-topic... |

I think everyone started to draw when they were young. Even writing could be considered drawing.
I got into drawing a few years back in seventh grade, just some pencil marks in a notebook(well, now anyway). I got a "How to draw manga book" at a book fair at my school and it really took off. I would pratice more but I just don't seem to have the time. I would draw at school but I can't help but patention. |
