True, that is more annoying than broken pics and toe-nail biting. |

Somehow I think that horridly large declaration was directed at all the pet peeves. It's a thread about pet peeves for Christ's sake, wonder why it's negative.
A current pet peeve of mine: People who post in the first forum they see instead of bothering to read all of them. People who post in categories without paying attention to which main category it's under. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I don't really like it when people don't treat others like real people while online, and that'll kinda tie into some other pet peeves I've read. It's as if they don't realize that they are, in fact, talking to or responding to a real person somewhere in the world (or maybe even across the street o_0 )
Insulting or blowing up at the slightest comment from someone you've never talked to before online would be like running up to stranger on the street and criticizing the way they walk...regardless of who started it.
Would anyone really be willing to do that in person? Or is it because you're not standing face to face with this person, you're allowed to say and do whatever you feel like? (...yeah... rhetorical questions are pretty nifty... ^_^ )
Curious...

Nah, I think it's just that those people are asses and don't care that it's a real person. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Okay T.T just got a new one.
People who leave nothing but " can you draw me?" in EVERY review! (and I don't mean every review in one person's gallery but every review that you EVER see them leave on ANYONE's pictures.....(yes...I do have someone specific in mind but for manner's sake I'm not saying)
I'm also kinda irked about people begging for comments at the end of their picture description ("REVIEW!!!" "PLEASE LEAVE REVIEWS!!" etc etc)
and then posting a review on their picture like "you guys don't like me do you?" or "why doesn't anyone comment? I know it's bad but still..." or " *sob* why are you all so mean! comment!!"
T.T...... 2.....minutes....after.....it's posted. Impatience is really irritating.
whoo n.n glad to get all that off my chest. now it's happy time! |

If you are refering to me, my dear, I am basically the same way I am offline as I am online. The only difference is offline, I'm a little more of a bitch. I know there's another person on the end of the computer, and I know there's a real person sitting across from me when I say something to them. If I say something mean, I usually have my own reason for it, end of story.
I can be nice to people, I'm just more often mean than nice. If you treat me decently and don't act immature (in my opinion of immature), then I'll probably be nice to you. If you treat me badly, disrespect me, act immature, or try to tell me how 'wrong' I am and try to tell me your opinion on something you don't really know about, then I might just treat you a little bit sh*tty.
Something else that pisses me off.. people who are complete sluts and don't care who they screw over, especially ones who are your friends and backstab you. |

O, that sounds bad.
Yeah, same way as you, If I ever talked. Online, I'm a chatterbox, but offline, I barely even speak. |

...I actually wasn't referring to anyone specifically...more like an "in general" type of thing...
It was more on the lines of "people are more likely to say whatever they want to say to people online because they don't have to care, or don't want to care, about how the other person will respond/react" ...if that makes any more sense than what I said before...as my personal pet peeve....

Yeah, I figured that, Ren. I just had to say that considering so many people on here go "Omgz, you're so mean, you wouldn't say that stuff to someone's face!" Yes babes I would and I have. Fallen, I <3 you. |

Please, what does <3 mean?
I hate it sooooo much when people say a character is theirs. Gub has a picture of Marik and two people are b!tch fighting over it. It's just sad.

Same as me, Kate. I'm nicer online. I can tell a few people will be reading this and are thinking "Holy s**t! She must be such a b!tch in real life!". Actually, I don't really care if a couple of people hate me online. Most people don't even know who I am, and those lucky enough to know me still don't really know who I am.
Woah, that went of the subject. I'm very random, and also negative. If I think your art could be improved, I'll say so. It bugs me how people, like you all have said, complain if you post a constructive critisism.
That's it. Finally. |
