yeah Im a fan of xmen to! the comics are really good and I luv the original cartoon! some of my favs are Bishop(timetraveler!), Cable(another timetraveler, with a glowy eye and robot arm), gambit (ofcourse! ^^) and Rogue. Morph was funny aswell but I didnt like Jean, why do all the guys like her anyway? I thought see was ugly and had an ugly costume <_<

Umm donnie darko lets set the scene...

The film concentrates on the titular teen Donnie (Jake Gyllenhaal), an apparently schizophrenic kid who seems to see and hear things. His main preoccupation appears to stem from an evil-looking humanoid rabbit named Frank (James Duval) who tells him to do certain actions.

Basically Darko follows a series of these events and Donnie’s general life. We meet his family and friends, including a new girlfriend named Gretchen (Jena Malone). Early on, Frank tells Donnie the world will end after approximately 28 days, so the movie counts down to that occasion.

Along the way, a lot of spooky weirdness occurs. I’d really rather not go into the details. That’s partially because it’s darned near impossible to actually cover the story; it’s so complicated and involved that it’d take a tremendous amount of space to convey it all. In addition, I don’t want to ruin any of the film’s elements for new viewers. They deserve to see the movie unfold before them.

yay i loved the magic skool bus! i thought it was cool how the teacher's outfits always matched whatever the field was. i had a fun computer game for it too.

mhmm donnie darko is awesome, chris! (one of my favourite movies). but yea it's hard to understand until you've seen it multiple times (for me, anyway), so there really isnt much point trying to explain it to you. sorry, caz-chan! maybe you could rent it or something if you really wanna see it.

ohh yeah Ive seen tokyo raiders!! my fav Jap actor is Takeshi Kitano (aka 'Beat' Takeshi), same Takeshi from Takeshi's Castle, he does ganster(yakuza) films manly, hes been in Battle Royale, Violent Cop, Kikujiro, Zatoichi and many more
Some of my fav Chinese films are: Young & Dangerous, God of Gamblers, a man called Hero, Stormriders and many more
ohhhh but 1 of my fav Chinese actress' died recently Anita Mui, heard of her? shes been in films with Jackie chan & Jet li soooo shes pretty well known, she was also a singer, some of her films: Heroic Trio, Executioners, Drunken master2 & lods more. She died December 30th 2003 of cancer *sob sob* she was only young! and really pretty and *sob sob* her last word to her family and friends as she died was: "Don't cry for me, dont say my name, just let me go on my yourney in peace" *sob sob* isn't that sad! ;_;

anyways (better change the subject before I get depressed =_=; ) yeah I like talking about xmen to! its not really "off topic" coz it old and a cartoon ohhhh Im glad someone else hates Jean & Cyclops! there just annoying as hell <_<

Nah i didnt see tokyo raiders on CNX, my mate is cantonese so he always has loadsa VCD's, we started watching it once but i didnt understand any of it and i wanted translations and he got tired of it, so he turned it off

mm static shock is ok- i used to watch it when it first came on, but then got out of it. it wasn't that bad tho- he has some sweet powers. and i liked his friend- the blonde guy. but for some reason it makes me miss batman beyond. god that was a good show...

hmmmmmm.... I watched static shock today, it was the first ep but I missed the first half ==_==; actually it was quite good! they shot guns!! haven't seen gun shooting in a non-anime cartoon in a long time (since ulysses) and I like his hair

lol that's ok about cable, caz-chan. i think he's from an alternate future or something anyway, so it's gets pretty weird (ha i saw a grey/summers family tree on an xmen site- man was it confusing! with all the different futures/realities and clones and whatnot. urgh there is way too much of that family). and yea he looks a lot like wolvie in that pic, chris! the pose and expression are just like him! hmmm if only we changed those knives to claws... o and indeed magneto rocks!

i used to love batman beyond b/c terry (the new batman) is so much cooler than bruce! i love the batman shows/movies, but bruce is just a dork. the bad guys weren't as good/memorable, but all of the futuristic technology was great

lol uhhh hurray for guns? maybe i should try watching static shock again... i think it's on when i'm still at skool or coming home from skool, tho (bleh the 1 hr 15 min bus ride is not fun)

Yay go cable hes the daddy...of Tyler....was there any point to that statement, no Ohh Ohhh on some web site i was reading that Gambit may actually be Scotts brother.... I know youll probably be shocked but i read it on some sight somewhere. The evidence is that they were both orphons is the only bit that i cant remember. Ill try and find the rest of the evidence. You will both be pleasently suprised.

I shall watch ulysesesweeesese one day, when i have the time. And static shock is cool, i saw the first episode yesterday as well and there will be loads of cool ones later. Batman and Robins in one of them, Batman of the future (i dont know how though with all the timelines and things) JLA, Superman they shall all be cool. Keep watching this space

Yeah darkness were cool i saw them at the MTV2 party in Brixton Academy and i also got to meet two of them and get there autographs, but nothings happened with them lately. There just trying to 'rock' america
