Silent Hill 4: The Room

Eerie-est one yet. The beginning... *shudders* And as you continue it's even creepier. I must keep playing... I'll be having nightmares.

My brother or I haven't played the Silent Hill series, but we've played the Resident Evil Series so we might like Silent Hill 4: The Room...

The series has always been one of my favourites. This is supposed to be the darkest yet, but the gameplay is supposed to be worse than others in the series. I'll just have to wait and see..

3 Words: Awesome Exclamation Mark. The story was superb and the grpahics were the best yet, but with every survival horror game comes deamons, and when it comes to sh4:tr Voice acting is one of them. Not only is the script dull and repetitve but it is also very obvious what they are going to say next (Especially henry's overly used catch phrase "what the hell") . I also thought the aiming system was more of a chore then help but it was still fun to wack the dogs when they are on the ground.

Overall this game was excellent with minor flaws which will most surely be fixed by the time XB2 and PS3 arrives

I liked the first 2 (especially the first), but the third one just couldn't hold my interest. Let's hope 4 is better...-R

Its a good game, ive played all in the series, but SH2 is my best. More intirging story line, that is if you can keep up with it, or you care to. A lot of people hate 2 because they get lazy and stop listening to the story line. Anyway, yeah SH2 has been swirled in a little with SH4. Walter Sullivan was mentioned in the article outside the apartment in SH2, and the owner of the apartment in SH4, Frank Sutherland is James dad from SH2.

As for SH4's gameplay it isn't as good, but the storyline does keep me happy. I also agree with the fact that the voice acting wasnt up to par.

I actually really enjoyed SH3 story line more than sh2, and Heather: wub: Anyways. . .Yeah SILENT HILL ROCKS YOUR SOCKS! But no bubble headed nurses which was kind of upsetting but yea you should all go play it and buy it and cherish the moments you spend with it.

i loved silent hill 2 and 4 but I love silent hill 4 more than 2 !!! its more scary !!
I loved the story of silent hill 2 and I cried when I finished it !! Smile

I am working on the second end of silent hill 4 !!! the good endings are very hard to get not like silent hill 2!!! silent hill 3 I loved the costums !!!! and one I loved the story !!! Cool

Pretty much it sounds like all of you [u]mostly[/u] like it. Haven't gotten all the way through it yet, but which near ending is what you see in the beginning, because it was eerilly sweet. If it's the hardest ending to get, it might take me forever to get to it. Innovative game.

Um that is an Evil Dead avatar. I think I might rent it, I always wanted to get into the Silent Hill series and now that I have a X-Box (Didn't get it untill this year because Nintendo Rocks!) I can play them.

You are right , this avatar is from Evil Dead ... I used to have a silent hill avatar but I changed now ... Cool
