Use the BitTorrent File Extractor. Just download it, and double click on whatever file you want to dl in the BT format, and PRESTO! You've got yourself one, ready-to-go BT Zip file. It all should be really self-explanatory once you get that far.
BTW, what are you dling? Porn? Lesbian pron? Nude porn? We all must know! |

I've gotta warn you. Torrent is NOT virus proof! in fact, you have a high risk of getting a virus on you computer. |

Torrent is no more dangerous than any other sile distro system.
The usual rules apply. If you are dumb enough to open a suspisous excutable you deserve to be infected. If you are dumb enough to not have a virus scanner, you deserve to get infected. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

However you do need a very fast upload speed in your internet connection if you don't want to be downloading with 1 kb/sec or even less than that. |

depends on the torrent. If there is a good seed to peer ratio and you are using a good client (Azureus is great) you can still pull some decent speed on torrents.
I can download at over 100k/sec with almost no upload on occasion. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

yes, torrent is just as dangerous as kazaa or .exe file you get in your mailbox from people you don't know. Therefor I discourage the use of Kazaa as well. |

Lol, I never use Torrent. I've never really had a sucessful experience with it. I dled Shaun of the Dead at 20kbs. <_< Took two damn days.
But what you should do is go to some library or cyber cafe and connect to the internet there. I do it all the time. |

For torrents I would recomend either Azureus, or if you don't have/don't want Java on your system for whatever reason, bittornado.
Here's Azureus
Bittornado Here
If you're behind a a router or firewall you may have problems with getting good speed. You can fix this by opening and forwarding the ports the client is set to listen on. It also helps your speed to cap the upload in the BT client just under your max upload. If you need any help with torrents just drop me a message on AIM/yahoo, email, PM on here, whatever, I'll be glad to help you if you need it. |
