Pop Ups Dangerous?

What the hell!? I just recieved an unknown virus warning from my virus scanner, caused by a pop up on fanart-central! It's quarantined, but someone who doesn't have a scanner might have a problem, and if this continues, you guys might have a problem too, because people would certainly think twice before coming here.

If you get a popup with paticularily offensive content or a virus, take a screenshot and email it to me. I will use it as evidence when i complain to the advertising company.

I'll try to do somthing. Dont guarentee anything useful from the advertising company.

But the popups have to stay unless the hosting costs can be covered in another way.

PLEASE READ THIS!

On the news, it said that if you get a pop-up saying that you have a virus, DO NOT CLICK ON IT! it is the virus! It has nothing to do w/ the advertizers.

You get what you want to screenshot on the screen and then you press the Print screen button. This can be located next to the scroll lock and near the pause button. Then you take it to a picture program and paste it and voila a screenshot. I hope that helps

I got the porn thing once when the popups were first put into place. And no, nothing else was or had been opened that could have caused them. Rolling eyes
