I know it's not my place to tell you who to vote for, and I'm sure everyone has their candidate in mind already, but for myself I just want to know for sure I did the last I could to at least influence some people.
When you are in front of the voting booth and you are about to enter your vote, and I cannot stress this enough, take into consideration who is better for the world and not who is the more charismatic person. Think about how this election influences 6 billion people, and not just a good 225 million (I don't even know exactly how much americans there are ) and think how the rest of the international community looks at you. Bush has made it no secret he has other preemptive wars planned, and those wars and casualties will be on the collective consience of all the people who voted for him. I think (and with me pretty much all of the western world, most polls indicate 88 percent) this world needs an American president who holds out a hand to other countries and wants to form strong alliences instead of one that has a polarising effect on the rest of the world. On the long run, you will fight terrorism more efficiently if you have help from other countries instead of on your own. Do you support a manwho has never been in war himself, but recklessly sends your fellow americans to fight abroad, or do you vote for a man who has seen what war is like first hand and knows how important such a decision is?
Okay, when I wake up tomorrow I hope I can say you made a good choice. |

Except for those with mail in ballots who voted over a week ago. Now if only the blitzkrieg phone campaigns would recognize that fact and stop calling. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Well, I think they are recounting votes right now in Ohio. No president who ever won did so without winning Ohio, major swing state. It doesn't look good for Kerry, though. _________________
