If that were the case, then you'd get the "FAC Content Guidelines" page when clicking on the link instead of the Add Fanart wizard.

Possible ideas to check:
- Did you check all your e-mail folders, including the spambox?
- Count the number of pictures listed on your FAC gallery page. Compare this to the # of pictures specified on your FAC profile page. If the two counts are not equal, this means that your picture is still pending approval (unlikely as a four-day wait may be)

Speaking of long waits, Denis, what's the lead on the approval queue today? I submitted a drawing earlier today and as far as I can tell, it's still in the stack. No, I'm not worried; but I do have one question in the meantime -- the times on the Recent Pictures list, are they based upon the time of submission or approval?

That almost makes me afraid to even ask how large the queue is now...

It can't be too bad, considering that the Recent Pictures listing does show pictures from today & such...

Earlier today I uploaded a pic for my gallery. My profile page currently says 88 pics, but my gallery page says only 87, so it's still waiting for approval.

Not that I'm worried though . . . just a bit impatient Laughing

Well, mine is through now Smile Normally I don't care how long it takes, but my latest was for a contest and I was kinda waiting for it to get through so I could provide the link to it... the contest's host has sorta been bugging me about when's my entry getting done....

Hacklanderj, his gallery shows 16 pictures but his profile says 18, meaning that he has two pictures currently pending approval. Whether or not this includes the one in question though, who knows?
so, do you know how long the line is
There's a stat called the "Approval Queue" which describes that. Unfortunately, that little number's been MIA ever since we got the new layout....

In cases of an extreme wait it can sometimes be an issue of who is approving. If a person doesn't have any experience with the subject matter or the like, they'll leave it for someone who does to cut down on mistakes.

yeah, I noticed that... is anybody gonna fix it so it shows, or was there a problem making it accurate?

If they say it's official, chances are good they found an official screenshot that matched it and passed a tracing/overlay test.

Keep in mind that direct copying from official pictures a.k.a. tracing isn't allowed.

If all you did was look at an official picture and draw yours on a separate surface, that would be okay, but there will always be differences (even minor ones) between it and the original source.

Suggestion #1 - Create original poses for your characters instead of drawing from screencaps.

Suggestion #2 - Or draw original characters and avoid the "official art" problem altogether.

Come to think of it, that probably explains the long delay... if the AP suspects that there's an official/traced picture, they might be looking for official screencaps to compare it to... just a thought, though.
