Dogs! You can rough-house with them. Plus, they're usually more social than cats.

I have a pet corn cob. His name is jim and he lives in my lava lamp. He is awesome and loves fried chicken and watermelon, but I can't feed him after midnight. . .

considering i have two dogs, despite the fact that they can sometimes be useless nothings, i have to vote dog.

That's a good question... Dogs are good 'cause they're generally more loving and devoted, but kitties are so pretty and they're much easier to tkae care of. I guess I'd hafta say cats, even tho I have cats and a doggie.

Cat's and Dogs are both cool...and they have their pros and cons. Dogs are versatile (with the right training you can make them do all sorts of things.) and of course are great companions. Cats on the other hand are free spirited and not a slave to what we want from them. You can let them out and in without worrying. They can be useful if you have a few unwanted guests around...but you dont have to feed a mousetrap! (But those things are scary)

But dogs are more loving and for the most part, you can mess with them all you want without the risk of being scratched. Cats are anything but playful. They can take themselves too seriously. Oh but those eyes....*sigh*

I cant play favorites here; they're both great animals. But overall, I love Dogs the best. Hence my name.

to all the cat people: but cats are antisocial creatures that often destroy things with their claws and hardly let you pet them...and if you try to pet them when they don't want to be petted, they scratch you...

dogs don't. they want to be cuddled...
