I've read them all. And I am very dissapointed with the last book, the other four were a lot better.
Oh, and it's Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle if memory serves correct.
My favorite character is Hermione, only because Harry and Ron would be most likely dead if it wasn't for her brains and the series would have ended, or they wouldn't have been able to study very well without her notes and her breathing down their backs, so they would have failed and kicked out ending the series.
Yeah, Hermione holds their circle of friends together. _________________ If I was anymore hardcore, I'd be arrested. |

Yeah. I agree. The third is an awesome book but the film was dissapointing. Did you know J.K.Rowling had writer's block all the way through the Order of the Pheonix? ...I also thought the Goblet of Fire was pretty damn sweet too.. It will be difficult, but if they pull thier fingers out, it could be a freakin' blockbustin' film.
Well good luck to 'em..

OMG that Puppet Pals thing was Frigen' funny.
Anyway, you didn't have my favorite character! Sirius! Ah well, I guess I'll vote for someone else...
And you have Snape twice....?
But I have to disagree, I thought that the 5th book was the best of them all!
( Besides the 3rd... ^_^ ) It does get darker, but that only adds more tension to the plot and makes you not able to wait for the next book. .... or at least I feel that way.
Another funny site for Harry Potter, (actually another puppet thing...?!)

My first choice is Sirius Black, but, since he's not up there, I'd have to vote for Harry..oh, and yes, I have read all of the books..I think we're all just waiting for the other two to come out...lol |

My favorite character has to be Snape. I love the way he treats his students and he is a very complex character. Despite Alan Rickman being a bit too old for Snape, I still liked him in the movies also. My second favorite character is Sirius. You gotta love that handsome animagus. ^_^ |

Alan Rickman's not too old for snape....He's just too handsome. As for the question...Yeah I've read em all. In my opinion the fifth book was some how dissapionting. Harry was a jerk....*sigh* I used to like him. _________________ Mohawks are beautiful sculptures |

I've read all of them, and think the 3rd one is the best to read, but as a film the 4th would be best. They could really go to town with special effects!
Snape is a legend. It's true that he's a very complex character, possibly the most complex in the book. I'd love to see what JK Rowling does with his character later on.

Well he is hitting puberty pretty hard, but can you blame him? He has gone through a lot also. Allmost dying like a couple of hunderd times and stuff.
I like Sirius. But mostly because my alltime favourite actor Gary Oldman plays him in the movies..
That's why I also like Malfoy's dad, because he looked so sexy in the second movie I'm just a sucker for men with long and or platina blond hair..
If I look at the book alone I think I like Professor Lupin the best, because he stands up for Harry. And he gives such fun lessons. I would like a teacher like him.. |

I don't really have a favorite. I forgot who about six of those people are anyway. I read books 1-4 but havn't had a chance to read the fifth one. School's summer reading kinda takes away any time I have to read my own books, and the school year is hectic enough. _________________ |

Yep read them all. But like mostly everyone else, the 3rd is my favorite. ^_^ The 5th was ok, but I expected just so much more, and I hope she writes a better 6th. The 1st movie, wasn't too bad, but still ugh! And the other two I won't even talk about. <_< If only they would have taken a leaf from the Lord of the Rings movies. That was such a good movie! And good computer graphics, but I won't go on...
Voted for Hermione, because she's just plain cool! |

I'd vote in the poll, but as neither Sirius nor Lupin is in it.... <_<
I love Remus Lupin. He's the only decent DADA teacher they've ever had. Not that it's much of an accomplishment, I mean his competition is a little traitor possessed by Voldemort, a sleezeball who's in love with himself, an Azkaban escapee who's impersonating a paranoid auror, and a Ministry of Magic employee who would give Voldemort himself a run for his money in hateableness...hateability? Sirius is great, too, and the end of book 5 made me cry.
Personally I thought the movies were alright. You have to take these things with a grain of salt but if you go into it to watch the movie as a movie and not as a recreation of the book they're not bad, even if they left out some vital info from the book...*cough*MoonyWormtailPadfootProngs*cough*
I'd love to hear more about the Marauder's day's at Hogwarts. James and Sirius sound like they got in more trouble than the Weasly twins would ever dream of.
Anyone finding themselves liking a character now that they absolutely hated at first? When I read the first book I hated Snape. Then he told off Lockheart, and anyone who'd put that over-inflated ego down is ok by me. Then we find out more information about his childhood and anyone would be bitter after what he went through. Then the fifth book comes along, and anyone would look good compared to that evil, vindictive little bitch the ministry sent. And now...I kinda like him. He really is a complex character, and even if he does hate Harry and friends he does try to protect them as best he can, even if he doesn't always go about it the best way. |
I don't like the movies- they definately could have done better. Maybe they should have used computer graphics (eg A Bug's Life, Toy Story), as they would have captured the magic, and all they would need have worried about was things like voice overs...
Oh for sure...I agreee....But I think...dont kill me now...a traditionally animated movie would of been supurb. Just Imagin it! Now dont tell it off just beacuase you dont like The princess musicals of disney....Have you ever seen "Iron Giant" or" Prince of Egypt?" Just Imagin Harry potter with those styles , hand painted backrounds, unlimted choice of voice acters (So long as thay had a british accent) , facail expresions., character design, the old tradition middle aged feel of Harry Potter , the Magical spells and beasts would of been flawlessly captured...*sigh* I could go on...and on....and a D-D-Danny Elfman soundtack!!! Hheeheeheeheehee!
But thay have a buch of dorks badly acting like the kid characters infront of show off type effecsts with no real heart or magic...just a shadow of the books, man...a..shadow...........*sniff* _________________ Mohawks are beautiful sculptures |

AAHH!! You didnt have the best character listed! Sirius!! o well..Draco was my pic out of what was listed ^_^
My fav book is the fifth one. But the third one is right behind it
I despised the third movie with the passion of 1000 suns <_< I just hate it when movies that are based on books dont follow (not everything) the story! The third movie didnt even tell you about WHO moony, padfoot, wormtail, and prongs were! GRR...
O. I would also like to thank you for not listing *stab*Cho*stab* in your poll. I despise her with more detail than what I described of the movies not following books thing... |

I read all of the books, but my fav was the third book. The movie was ok, but I expected Sirius to be a lot cuter. I mean, I thought his hair would of been longer and he wouldn't have that beard thingy. I was sad at what happened to him in the last book.
And why didn't you put Sirius (or Lupin) in the poll???? _________________ It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:
Song: Seize the Day by Default
Anime: D.Gray Man
Anime character(s): Kanda
Video Game: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Video Game character: Wolf O-Donnell from Star Fox Assault
OC: Ray Eclrida, copyright of me (duh!)

Meh, I didn't like the third movie too much.... The third book wasn't my favorite either... I liked the second movie the best, the fourth book was my favorite...
I find Ron an expendable character sometimes..... Keyword: sometimes.... He can be a very funny character, although slightly irksome at times...
Mainly my favorite character is Luna Lovegood. Slightly off in her mind, but brilliant. Pure brilliance hiding behind a slightly odd individual. _________________ If I was anymore hardcore, I'd be arrested. |
