Approval Panel

The approval panel just makes sure nothing is breaking the rule, and that it's under the right category and rating really. There's no quality control at the moment so sadly, those five minute sketchs, we have to approve to go on the site *bites tongue*

And if you want to help on the site, you want to talk to Denis about it. We need a lot of help on clean up duty for the categories. I've spent close to ten hours just on the inuyasha section and there's still some bits nad bobs in there that need put in the sub categories. But i'm already in horrible mood because of it. I don't ever want to see an inuyasha picture again unless EXTREMELY well done....

You seem to be getting so many negative comments I just though I would say you are all doing a really great job and the approval panel is a great idea!
It was just making me mad how many people where unhappy about it.
I don't understand why it angers them so badly...

I was fixing up some of the categories last night until like 2 in the morning the entire time thinking "no one freaking cares about this...what a waste" but now I'm good!

weeeeee i like the approval panel...course i dun really mind it being there either cause ive only posted one pic since it came up Razz

and that was my first oekaki piccy....^ ^

anyway i thought at first that this was a great idea cause like the comment i left on another topic...i got sick of seeing the same person's pics all on the top 10 list...it got annoying...and the actually good pics that people had spent time on got pushed down into non-existance...or atleast off the top 10 list :huh:

anyway...im just giving gratitude where it is earned....arigatou-gozaimus fac team!!! I am enjoying the site a lot more now that everything is being cleaned up Cool

Lol I used to be one of those people that posted thsoe little five minute sketches in school . . . . but I started reading these threads about how hard the mods work to approve all those pics and I stopped. ^_^ And I've had two pics get rejected (one for size and one wasn't in the right categoty) but I fixed them. See? Some people listen to the mods Smile

this is a little off topic, but i just wanted to make a comment......

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE APPROVAL PANEL!!!!!!!! i don't really like waiting around for my pics to show up mostly becuase I live on this site, but it is like a wake up call for everyone. people are realizing now that they can't just steal pics and post them. and with the quality control, if u guys add that, people won't just post any old crap

and yes, i do know that some of my pics are REALLY bad and i'm not trying to diss others with my comments. i actually had one of my pics rejected and I'M HAPPY, because it made me realize that it was really bad and that i had already had known that it was bad before i uploaded it.

so...... DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! lol

Wow, i feel so much better now, finally, some people who like what we're doing and are nice and patient about it all. i like this, wish more people were mature enough to see it from our point of view and understand.

And yes, we do need some more people to help out on the approval panel and on category clean up. contact denis about it. If you get put on, i'd ask the other staff members (if your signed on and once you are) how things are done so we don't get any confusion going, thats the last thing we need.

i'd like to make it clear that, that is only temporarily going ot be there.......lets just hope mudlake continues to be liked by me, i've found enough idiots around here so far.

i was just fed up with all the complaints and not on single, thanks or i approciate what you guys do for any of the damn staff ever when we basically bust our asses for everyone's benefit, not just ours T_T

oo no i understand, lasher! i think it was very nice of mudlake to say that. i also have a lot of respect for all the work you guys have put into this site and how well you handle problems and annoying/troublesome members. there should be more people like you mudlake!

HI! Okay, I hope I'm not being a bother. I e-mailed ctdenis and he told me to come here so I apoligize if I've missed something...
I was wondering if you needed more people on the approval panel. When I usually get on, there are at least 30 or more pics waiting to be approved and there are usually no board members in sight, not to mention I'm on the computer at least five times a day (usually more though ^^') So I was just wondering if you all needed the extra help. -mew.

We just added at least 6 people so i'm pretty sure we're good right now. I think he was trying to direct you to the "looking for volunteers thread"

how long ago did he reply to you? o.o"?

Well we've got our new recruits so to speak and i think we probably won't be adding anymore right now. But if you stick around, let yourself be known and such, when the time comes in which we need more volunteers, you'd be more likely to be accepted.

Hi! I would like to help out with the approval panel or if I can't I can do the cleanup crew because you guys said you need more help organizing and I'm really good at it. I promise I'm always on this site so I'll have hours to do cleanup crew and approval, when nobody's around. This site might go faster with me on it. by the way LynxTheWindMaiden () I'm sure you'll do a better job than I will.
