Oh, Silver, I finally remberd what it was i wanted to comment on in the 6th one! It was the whole Thoma/Eiri thing while they were in NY! I was lmao for, like, 5 mins after i read that!


Oh, and another note, Cameron drew me one of the chibi piccys of Eiri, and im trying to get it scanned so ya can see it ^^

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING




TOHMA wants Yuki and Shuichi to break up because of a lot of stress on Yuki (which caused the coughing up blood and hospitalization in a previous volume), and Yuki (whether he is or not i'm unsure, i need to re-read the manga to be certain) seems to be asking Tohma to try and get Shuichi to break up with him so he doesn't have to (His reasoning seems to be something along the lines of he doesn't want to deal with Shuichi's annoying manners). Tohma threatens to drop Bad Luck from the record label and make sure they're never picked up again, and somehow (forget), Shuichi ends up thinking Tohma and Yuki love eachother (go figure). Shuichi and K invade the bar where Tohma and Yuki are, which ends up in Tohma surrendering once K joins the arguement between him and Shuichi (saying something along the lines of that his threats aren't much with K around).

Yuki breaks up with SHuichi there and then, thanking Tohma.

Shuichi, heartbroken, ends up dying his hair blonde (go figure). He and K go to see a movie that stars Judy Winchester (the American Hollywood star), and SHuichi ends up going into a rant after a fairly sexual conversation with K that has to do with the movie somehow, and convinces everyone in the theater to give up on love (once again, go figure.)

Judy Winchester runs into Shuichi and K, and after the 'shocking' discovery that they are married (Judy has a habit of speaking in English and calling K by his real name, Claude, though he complains that he is K on the job.).

Judy Winchester ends up (i forget how X_X) capturing him and bringing him to America, where i believe he is offered a chance to play in the U.S.

IN the meanwhile, back in Japan, [b]Tohma has given up control of NG to Sakano[/b], and arrives at Yuki's house.

LDD IS still around, people, i chat with her nightly on AIM, but she just hasn't been as active on the forums lately.

Yeah, the anime/ova cut a bit out from th manga. But I guess that's to be expected, considering that the series was only 13 episodes long.

I personally like the manga a bit more - Shuuichi was a bit less of a moron. And there was lots of Ryuuichi. ^__^

I haven't seen Gravi dubbed yet, but from what I've heard, the voice acting is horrible. But at least they kept the music in. ^_^

the dub IS terrible. a friend of mine has it, says the voices are fucked up beyond imagination. Yuki sounds like a robot, he says, and Shuichi sounds waaay too masculine.

actually now that i actually think of the voice acting shuichi could stand to be a bit more high pitched

The only dubbed voice that I really though fit was Tohma's I really didn't like any of the other ones. I was really mad with how they did K's voice.. he has a very normal sort of voice that wasn't any different from the other characers. I thought it would have been more appropriate for the producers to cast him with a New York or even Texan accent just to show that he is a foreiner or from a different area. In the anime he has an americen accent to hjis japanese, and I though it would also make sense if he has some sort of accent in the dubbed version

ok...I was off!! and I had no idea that shuichi dyed his hair blonde!!!!!! I don't remember that!!!! I will go read the 8th book again tonight!! but I still think that yuki loves shuichi. I really dislike tohma.... but o well...we'll find out the more details in the 9th book.... ^_^
