Believe it or not, it's not anything personal.

It's really not the fangirls [i]themselves[/i], but how they conduct themselves in front of others that we mind. We have already seen many immature fangirls proclaiming their puppy loves and obsessing about what they fantasize doing with their fave characters. And that's not all, when another fangirl steps in and claims said characters to be "theirs" alone, war tends to break out between them, and if that happens, the moderator has to pry them apart just to keep the peace....

[i]That[/i] is what we don't like when it comes to fangirls, and there are many more besides me sharing the same opinion. You can read Nate's Rant (warning: flamebait) if you're interested.

Now, in your defense, it is also true that we ourselves can get a little rabid when facing down a potential fangirl (or fanboy). We can apologize for that, but you mind your behavior, and we'll mind ours. Wink

Can you deal with seeing all of your favorite characters made fun of in the name of low humor? Then check out the FFVII recap at videogamerecaps.com. It's really funny, but if you're oversensitive, overly attached to the characters, or offended by (really) dirty humor you might want to pass. Most of the characters aquire new nicknames along the way, such as 'Bitch.' I'll let you figure out who that is on your own. ;)

By the way...anyone know if a US release date for Advent Children has been announced?
