26.82446% - Total Geek.

I should show my brother this, bet he'd love it.

They should've had stuff from the Silmarillion in there with the Hobbit and LotR, it's much less mainstream and therefore geekier. Very Happy
There is no such thing as a geek. People like to lable those who do better in school or have a peculiar taste (like start wars). there is however idiots Surprised . . . . Laughing
That's true. But this whole thread [and the quiz] is just a silly thing that has been designed to amuse others. This is not supposed to be incriminating or derogatory in anyway. In fact, there are people actually trying to get high scores.

And of course people like to label people. It's a part of society; humans will probably never evolve past the need for individuality and the need to put others down to heighten their own sense of being. All this has been done and discussed before, and presumably instilled into [hopefully] many a person's mind.

So, just sit back and take the quiz. Amuse yourself. Have some fun. =P

PS: The definition for "geek" has evolved beyond that old way of thinking. Take a look at the site, it has the "newer" definition for the new age. :3 It's no longer derogatory; heck, I'd be surprised if I ever heard that used in a distasteful manner in a public place.

Flea you g33k g0d. You're crazy. My dad instilled the Star Wars knowledge in my head, it did not get there by intention. I never really got into Star Wars.

Actually I'd have to say geeks label themselves because they never do anything about what people say about them, therefore they are just continuing the geek trend thingy.

Heeh. That's a theory.

I've gotten "decent" on this quiz - 30-something percent, and I'm the one who would much rather sit down and read a book than veg out in front of the television.

However. If someone called me a "geek" for that, I'd probably retaliate. Not because of the word "geek", but because of the sheer disrespect for others' opinions and lifestyles.

So, I think the stereotyping is too broad. Geeks, again, are not a people, just a word. I'm a "geek", but I certainly wouldn't sit back and watch this atrocity pass by.

"...continuing the geek trend thingy." Erm. Actually, it's died a while back. Nowadays, people are much more inclined to condemn others based on their sexual orientation rather than how intelligent they are. >_<

So, that's just more of my opinion. ^^

If you were a girl you automatically got bumped higher... Huh. You know, I was shopping at The EB today, and I realized how much shorter I was than almost everyone in there. Then I realized that I was the only one in there without a penis. Same thing always happens at the comic book store.

I got 38.85602%; Major Geek

That seems to be a lot for a chick. Who doesn't have facial hair

28.20513 Total Geek, Yayyyyyy! I have no life anyway. Being called a geek doesn't bother me cause I already know I'm different than most of the people at school. Hell, all of my friends are the all weird ones at school! Geek Mafia! I don't like the actual definition to geek though. It says they are people who bite off chicken's heads for entertainment.
