I draw. And when I'm done, then I start feeling stuff. Either pride or disgust. ^-^

I feel for the character I'm drawing, if I draw them sad it makes me sad as well, if I draw them happy I get happy as well. There's an unwritten story that goes along with each of my pictures because I tell it to myself as I'm drawing and it influences the way I feel about it. Just put pencil to paper and let it go.

Well the pride comes from what you think is a good picture and if people don't like

your picture than you feel sad. Most important everybody should feel that they're

into their picture so that you can do a better job at it. On the other hand I feel
proud of every picture I draw, if anybody here feels bad about their picture and

no body has commented on it, just give me your site and I'll comment on it, I

could probably introduce your site to others and maybe they'll comment on it too!

If there are any newbies here you're always welcome!

Im not sure that I feel anything when I draw, but if Im concentrating really hard, Ill find myself frowning at my drawing. Lol. I also surprise myself with how good some of my pictures turn out. I think, "Wow, I did that, I really made this blank paper look special." So the feelings come after the process.

And Krissy, could you please not attach a file to your posts? It makes the page take longer to load, and it's a little annoying to scroll through them. Thank you.

I draw people in the mood I'm in...

Bleurgh - I've filmed myself drawing once, and when I had to concentrate really hard I was frowning and pouting and looked terrible.
But the thing is, if you look terrible because you're concentrating, the picture generally doesn't look terrible.

Unless of course you are crap and have no talent, but I'm not going to go into that tonight.

Drawing is my hobby. I enjoy it and feel productive at the same time. Same with painting. I love it to death.

The best feelings i get when i draw is when i stick my headphones on i get an idea and start sketching it.

i believe that without listening to music i cannot concentrate and relax. The best music that helps me out comes from Enigma Albums, Medwyn Goodall Albums, 2002 Albums.

Hm... never heard of that song but I listed to Kingdom Hearts songs most of the time, like stuff with secret previews and I just pick up cute drawing ideas and sometimes I'll make my friends pose for me, even though most of my friends are guys they'll do it for me, they know I'll kick their butt. ^___^ Just about anything helps me draw better.

Why do you always attatch pics to your posts? Drawing comes from the heart I guess... and when ya ain't feeln it.. ya can't produce your best stuff.

I invented the chars that I draw so many years it really can make me feel my age. ToniBo is older than most everyone here (27yo). Iri is 10yo. Miki is 7yo and the youngin CC is only 2 1/2. Ive been drawing them and of course had to invent personalities and relationships for my stories for so long they seem almost real. when I draw them I try to think what any of my chars would be thinking and really get into it. seems almost insane but writers do that and so do artists...I just happen to do both. its really enjoyable to sketch a char and think (yeah thats how I wanted her or him to look) then ink it and see the lines really come out. then bring it close to life with color.

yeah I guess theres feeling there. a great way to express yourself be it writing, photography, music, sculpture, even stuff you would never think of as art...work. its an art what engineers do. Id love to look out at the Brooklyn bridge and say Wow I did good. and the workers that built it. there is art everywhere. all you have to do is open those eyes and look. artists of all kinds with the same pride.

what everyone here is doing is showing a little bit of ourselves....keep it up!

When I draw it's usually when I'm feeling one emotion really strongly. I try to draw what I feel but... most of the time it doesn't turn out. But when something looks perfect, just how I want it, then that's the best ^^.

My characters sort of give away what I am feeling, like if you see a character I drew looking happy I was happy drawing, if ones sad, I felt a little down when I drew it. Its weird,( but then again I am strange ha ha! ) but most of the time I am happy when I draw!! Cool

I chose compassion, because to me, drawing, is an escape, a whole other world to me! It's the way I let my feelings go, and just let it flow on to the paper I have. I draw....I don't even have enough fingers OR toes to count how much I draw.......sad, huh? Wink
