I was wondering how everyone corrects mistakes made while inking. I get so irritated with myself when I have this really good sketch and then I botch it up while I am inking it. |

I can't ink i'm way too sloppy.. my best advise is forget inking and just scan your pencil sketches and draw over your pencil drawings in photoshop. _________________ |

White-out, or something to that effect, works good too. _________________ 222.

Those are good ideas. I guess I'd have to darken the pencil sketches so they will so up on the scanner. |

Well, when I mess up on my drafting plate, I use a razor sharp blade, the sharpest I can find(so I can scrap the paper off easily) to scrap or peel the spot with the ink blotch. It usually works, but just be careful not to peel the paper thickly. . . |

With my luck I would totally mess it up. I guess the paper would have to be pretty thick too. |

If anything you can cut out a piece of paper and put it over the mistake and then just redraw that part of the picture.
T.T I usually just trace it over..but I'm a TERRIBLE tracer and it never looks as good *sob* |

Try to work with the mistake. I try to work with mine and it all works out in the end, but if it's a HUGE mistake, read the posts above mine. |

I do not know how you do your coloring...if you do, but scan it and any multitude of programs such as psp, corel, pc paint, even ms paint (if your careful) can help.
also if you are one of those (like myself) that inks over original sketches (I erase to lighten the mess of pencil, and it can get messy) those programs work wonders to clean up a mess. use your scanner on the B/W feature and you will not get a million shades of gray. clean up is just getting rid of a few specs. warning if hand is shaky with the pen watch out for you mouse...you mayby working on a 1 hour picture for 3 days!

Now why didn't I think of that? I should scan it as a black and white picture. I'll do that from now on. Thanks |
