I know we have a rather diverse group of people her, so I was wondering: how many different languages can the people at FAC speak?
Me? I know bits of French and Italian (not enough to carry on a conversation), and I speak very broken Latin.
I know, not very impressive. I shall not sit here and wait patiently to be blown out of the water by Lexar and his fluency in every language on earth. _________________

Speaking latin and ancient greek is kinda weird considering they are so called 'dead' languages, or non-spoken languages They only really exist in written form today. |

I can speak French and Gaelic (since I take them in school) but I really really hate Gaelic. It's such a useless language.
I can also speak Pig Latin and Ubbi Dubbi fluently, does that count? _________________ |

I know a couple languages:
English (duh)
Mandarin (I go to learn it every Sunday because my parents are from Taiwan*)
Spanish (I learn it in school)
Taiwanese (Understand... barely)
Japanese (maybe a word here and there...not much)
That's about it!
*Taiwan-A small island off the coast of China. It is a country (for you who have never even heard of it). |

The real question is, could you have a good conversation with a native speaker, not if you can understand this or that, because you can always figure something out even if you never spoke it before. |

I can speak the English. Pittsburgh-style.
German, maybe enough for a (real) conversation.
Trying to learn Russian, but it's going nowhere fast. |
