Its spelled oekaki

Since others can define things better than I
Oekaki is a japanese word meaning scribble or doodle. There are many sites on the Internet...which use java applets called Oekaki applets, since they allow to draw and post images online.
I belive there are 2 such programs Oekaki BBS and Paint BBS. Paint chat stuff could also be considered oekaki I think. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

actually there's a third, shi painter, which is kinda like paintbbs w/ a few differences. if you're interested in oekaki there are 2 sites I draw on that you could use. there's this site which is oekakicentral and there's this 1 which is actually part of side7.com I'd suggest going to the latter site first since oekaki central has a butload of rules restrictions. |

				| So that's what it is! I've seen it around alot, but I never knew what it was! Some people can do it real good too! They actually do something somethimes when you invert the picture or highlight it, it has a hidden image! |

hey, since this page is all about oekaki, can someone tell me how to pronounce the word?!! I've been using oekaki programs for several months now and I don't even know how to say the word. anytime I'm talking to someone about oekaki I just have to say "this Japanese computer art stuff". |
