either that or burn down the 4Kids building and make sure there are no survivors or any shred of their pitiful existence left to haunt this earth...

4kids must go and Pokemon must go. Yu-gi-oh........I don't care. I'm pretty sure that the Japanese version is better, maybe decent. I'm glad that Shounen Jump translates the manga ( even though I don't read it), it's just that I'm happy about the fact that Shounen Jump doesn't change the names. I'm such a fool.

I agree with you KotokoPlum. Little kids are so naive. But hey, let us hope that all of the children who love the dubbed shows that 4kids give out shall one day see the light that 4kids is a terrible company who love to manipulate children's minds. . . . .

D*** you 4kids. Everyone who works there should be ashamed.

Just a quick comment, The japanese version and the mange are way better anf very different from the 4Kids crap, there is almost no dueling in it, while in the 4Kids there is a duel in every freakin episode. And while I hate the fact that is it mostly based on a card game, I love that characters nonetheless.

Actually, the dueling in the manga comes and then takes over the comic. (I own up to volume 35 in a collection of mixed between Japanese and Chinese Yugioh volumes and skipped some of Duelist Kingdom)

4kids murdered the anime.

I watched the Japanese version and when I saw cuss words and blood I was like "omigods!" and the world cracked open and I only watch the english version to laugh like an idiot over it(as I am always 50 episodes ahead of the english one at any given time)

One thing I despise greatly about the chopped version, as a Pagan type person, is that they blatantly put x's or somehow destroy the magic circles up until this seal of orichalcos part(ironically, the writing along the edges of the circle get credit for being Satanic writing and Satanists actually agree on that as far as the net goes)

I hate how they cut out guns, I mean...Bandit Keith just POINTING doesn't look threatening! Besides, if the villains use guns the little idiotic impressionable children will go "guns must be bad" unless they are one of those villain liking people, though except maybe for Marik none of the villains on Yugioh are very desirable.

Cutting cuss words I don't really mind, but cutting anything relevant to the word "death" drove me mad. I mean those five cards Bakura used spelled "Death" not "Final" What the heck is scary about the word final?! Unless it's referring to school finals *cringe* ANd they always say "send you to the shadow realm" whether it means actually send you to the shadow realm or murder you.

I always thought that scene where Pegasus called his wione "fruit juice" was utterly hilarious....you know he's drunk to at least a little by the way he talks.(he sounds even more drunk in Japanese if you ask me)

The only thing about the english version I do like is Joey Wheeler's voice. He doesn't sound as great in French, Japanese, and Chinese.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is probably the greatest sore spot of mine as far as disliking censors goes. Shaman King didn't get as murdered as much as I thought it could be. I always end up yelling at the tv on how on earth Shaman king gets to show blood to some extent and the ninja turtles are allowed to come near to death(not to mention they keep yelling "what the shell?!" which drives me insane for some reason. that's only one 's' sound away from hell too) while yugioh remains so dead...

I think 4Kids TV is on on Saturday mornings on Fox. My little brother is hooked on it. Pretty scary if I do say so myself.
