Hmm, my user name, let's see here.


Lasher, Lasher *thinks......* well, it's a famous name for one reason. If you read books, you'll probably catch on pretty quick on to why. And if your an Anne Rice fan, you damn well better or your just not a damn fan or reader of her as far as i'm concerned (and probably Kate too since i got her reading A.R. books now ^_^ muwhahaha!) Don't get it yet? Anne Rice, the author and creator of the famous Vampire Chronicles (ever seen the movie queen of the damned, yep, read the damn book, its better) Well, she has other books to about demons of sorts and all that other good, dark, sexual stuff (again, if you read the books, you'll understands) *grins, smiling at Kate*

Any how, there is a character anne rice has called "Lasher" I didn't take it from here though, i found out about that book after i discovered this name on my own, but i love the books and the characters. Read Taltos and Lasher, they're, how do they say, bangin....

It's also my own, personal, domain. My server, at lasher.org (more specifically, lasher.org/gallery) so yeah, back off bitch, mine!

Before we had the server and everything under that name, i just found it of my own free will when i was little...you try watching x-men and looking through your brother's huge card collections, then you'll sit there, thinking up cool names for a mutant to or some monster or something like that (i prefer demon ) and without looking anywhere, i thought up Lasher, then i discovered it was a real word (i was little after all dumbasses) and then when i got older, i looked up to in teh dictionary, a rather nice meaning *cough*

Oh yeah, Lasher is the name i use for my artwork as well as GenesisEve. I use lasher more for drawing, GE (short for genensiseve) for paintings, my e-mail is GenesisEve@lasher.org, my aim is GenesisEve86, Yahoo and MSN are GenesisEve05. And i use to be GenesisEve here on FAC, Lasher in the forums, i had them changed to just Lasher though.


GenesisEve is my writing name. I refuse to use my real name for anything artistically made by me. In fact, if i ever go pro on anything, i plain on going under a different name, not GenesisEve or Lasher though, that's just unpractical, most likely Eve something, always loved that name.

Who knows, i've actually though of changing my name a few times, a way of brushing the slate clean and getting away from my families name and such (i have my reasons) would make it harder for certain unwanted people to find me to i nteh future, especially if i do go pro and make something out of my work <_< that for damn sure. Of course i'd still have a few calling me by my real name *pokes FAC group of mine of buddies, chris with a stick specifically* so yeah, ut otherwise. yeah.

wow, i'm sorry, i went on again, i just like explaining the Lasher and GenesisEve thing cause i've been asked so many times. lol.

Duuuuuude...that's a lot of explanation. I have a friend who's obsessed with Anne Rice books. I have no idea what one she's reading now, but I remember her reading the back and saying "It's promised me steamy encounters, and I've read 150 pages and not found any." "....there's 400 pages left, there's plenty of time." "...yeah, I guess." She was excited, too, because for the first time there was gonna be straight sex. I will never forget her saying "all the other books are like 'would you like to share a coffin?'"

hahaha *laughs nervously and smiles like a catholic school girl* yeah, i told you i over did it but i love doing that once in awhile. oh well, so shot me (try it and i'll break your balls honey)

It depends what book she's reading, ask her, i'm sure i could give a few with some steamy scenes in it. I don't read them for that reason though, although they can be nice. I just like how the woman write's her s**t, i love the detail put into it and how the characters look, act, fell, move, talk, etc etc etc

So yeah, i think my own writing, is a lot lie hers in detail. and i hate maing my s**t short because i HAVE to get the character across to the reader just right, i don't want them to use their imagination to morph them into how they think they are, but to actually show them how they are.

Any how, ask Kate what she's been reading. I think when i first got her really reading Anne Rice, she went and got three books, and she was rav'en to me on how hot the book was and the scenes, i think the first two books she was a litlte surprised by it, lol.

i forget which ones she first read but she said they had pretty hot scenes in it.

Maemi. I wanted a screen name that best describes me. My friends often tell me that I always smile whatever the situation is, sometimes even in the inappropriate ones. Maemi means smile of truth. Although I won't say I'm always truthful. . .

*gasp* but I can't tell what my SN means! Then I shall have to change my siggy ;_; Well oh well DG stands for DragonGoddess! Ha ha! you are all amazed are you not? It start of prolly 3 or 4 years ago when I signed up at fanfiction.net and my SN there was DragonGoddess... but in comments and such people would refer to me as DG. Then when I started joining other sites (media miner DA here ect...) the SN DragonGoddess had already been taken so I used the shortened form DG but I decided that it was too short so I decided to add on the Japanese honorific -sama to it which basically means Lord or Lady a term of great respect. So there! The mystery is solved!

The "Powtaz" Autobiography

Started in 1998. continued to the present day. so thats, 6 years in the making.

Upon getting the internet, i wanted to become a member at a useful site, so i joined Looneytunes.com, and i needed a name. After an hour of pondering, i came up with the name Powtaz. I started answering kids questions and helping in every way, until they started to annoy me, with there childish repetetive ways. So, i stopped going there. But, not before i had some written fun first ;)

Basically started at NHL.com (hahahaha, oh those days were great) back in the buzztime trivia age. before all of us ended up embarrasing the NHL, and buzztime ended up cancelling its partnership with the NHL. lol, ive read the official letter, and well we were to much of a bad influence, on younger children, and we were not reflecting a great image on NHL. i stayed there from 98-2001. then, a horrible virus ate my computer, and i disapeared for 8 months. when i came back, it was officially gone. Amazingly, a bunch of us there regrouped on our own sites and still have strong connections. Lol, stupid buzztime, but that place was the best. :(

During my stay at NHL.com, Ambush and a few others sot me hooked to star craft. so, i started playing online. and discovered Bnet. Ambush asked me to join his clan, so, i did. but at the time, i wanted to try a new name. so i took on Venom, Venom342. And quickly adapted myself into a few "clans", even though i sucked at starcraft. Eventually, Venom342 disapeared (cause of virus) but Powtaz made his return to Bnet.

Next, looking for a new place, i was introduced by a friend to shoryuken.com. As my usual self, i quickly made enemies, but then, i flamed them all and got permanatly banned.....twice.

During this time, James, aka Goggleboy was falling in love with an art site, known as Fanart Central. Hes a great artist. One day, he was bored and asked me to join the site. I quickly obliged, with the goal, of babbling, lol. (this was like, a year ago or so). The old forums was our target, and thus the BBQ saga was born. BBQ my BBQ oh my! Eventually, the site started to grow, and a chat room was introduced. and i was curious, so i stepped in, despite james tellin me, "chatrooms are boring" and well, after i liked the place, and later, he did, i started dropping by like 2wice a week.

In the meantime, i was asked to join MTV because some one was too chicken to insult MTV, and needed someone who didnt give a s**t, so, i was asked to help. after laughing at my friend, i eventually joined and flamed MTV. unexpectedly, MTV seemed to like me, and thus, i introduced James to MTV, and we dropped fanart for a few months. Eventually, we discovered that MTV fans were homos, and casually left.

And that forced me back to Fanart. Except now, it had gotten really interesting and was changing alot. So i decided to stick around, and have been here since. The members here are as interesting as my Buzztime counterparts, so i love it here. The forums rock grasp my attention, and are extremley intresting!

Haha, oh, and in the meantime, the IGN conquest was born. I'd joined a few months earlier, cause of Ambush, and well, stopped goin, cause it was borin. He convinced me to go back, as a heel, so i did. and man o man, was that fun. After gaining the respect AND hatred of everyone, i was permanatley banned, including the IP address, which banned my entire school, lol. Then, i got it unbanned, but had gotten perma banned 7 more times. I eventually tracked them down at this "nucleus" site, and was perma banned just for showing up. Then, i walked into one of their newer sites, and.......i was instantly suspended, but, when i had came back, ....they made me a MOD. i stopped going there, because it makes no sense.

Mine is.. Kate Humps Trees and it means uh... that Kate humps trees? No, I made it as a joke because I used to always tell people to go f**k a tree So it's basically saying I hump trees. It could also mean something sexual, if you get what I mean... .

Borrowed Wish is the screen name I use for everything. I first thought of it when I was trying to come up with a good name for my website. I was feeling really depressed and felt as if I didn't even have wishes that belonged to me anymore.

I used to play Team Fortress, a teamplay mod for Half-Life. I wasn't very good for running around and killing people, because my reflexes were just...bad. So I decided to play as a medic, that way I wouldn't die too much and could be helpful to my team. The name stuck.

First off I'll start off with the end of my screenname because everyone I talk to seems to think its from the game Halo *makes buzzer noise* nope, actully never played it. I put halo because my first name is Angela which means angel, and there over a billion SN's with angel in them, so enter the halo part.
As for shield, I am left handed and I read somewhere that the word left in its english root word form means *to protect" or "shield". For some odd reason I really like the word shield, sounds stronge and has a kinda kiss my a** feel <_< .
Anyhoo, I don't use really any other screen names besides this one. I used to use it in a chat room, kept the horny 15yr old boys away thinking I was a guy.

So theres the explanation for shieldhalo, so I guess it in a way means left handed Angela?
