Okay, i'm a little grumpy. it's winter, almost christmas and i still don't have any snow! And yes, winter is possibly my favorites season, although i like all of them for their own reasons. But god %)#% i want some snow already!
So what's yours and why i wonder?
I'm going for winter, just because the snow makes it all so awesome. I should get my dad to send me some, indiana just got a @%$^ load dropped on them. |

Yeah, i don't do to well in smoldering hot weather. Especially if it's humid. I'm not to much fun to deal with when i'm to warm. If i have it my way, i'll be moving up north when i move out. Or just have the air conditioning on full blast all of the spring, summer and parts of the autumn |

Yeah? Hmm, hey, whats the wether like any how in holland? Does it even really get cold over there? Or warm for that matter? I just remember england being damp, rainy, and not really hot or cold, but more annoyingly inbetween and chilly at the most. |

I love each season for thier own reasons.. but if I could live somewhere permanently winter, I would.. The look of snow on buildings is just so.. traditionally christmas? sort of thing.. you get me.
Summer.. I love Summer in England because I don't like the heat but I love sunny nights. The late days are still bright and I dunno, it just has a great feeling to it.. Still light at 10-11pm is fantastic.. plus it's kinda warm, if not a cool breeze almost always it's really nice.
Spring.. Lovin' the flowers, bunnies, chirping birdies, bees are having sex. Everything is so lush and green and wonderful, everyone is happy and new and I dunno I feel almost reborn.. Glad to be alive sort of thing.. Nature is gracious.
Autumn.. Falling leaves, wind, rain.. It's all great.. Probly the worst of the 4 but still great
winter is just awesome. simple as. Cold is better than heat |

Gray, i think thee is a poet inside of you, just struggling to get out Very nice summary though and i too agree on them all. But as you said, if there was a place it snowed all year around i too would live there. It's not that it's christmas like to me. Sure the holidays are great but it's just utterly peaceful and calming to me. And i can go out and lay in the stuff for long periods of time. It's sort of a tradition for me to go sit out in the first snow fall and just relax. Which is like an instinct for me really in that sort of weather. It's automatic.
I mean i too love the feel of summer and the long days and such. But i just don't do well in the heat. And the north, east cost area does in fact, get very warm. Try having it 35c outside on a normal basis. It's horrible. Yuke. |

Yes!
Yes indeed. Constant snow is so refreshing.
Each morning would look exactly the same.. The whole Brilliant White denoting Virginity/innocence is what does it for me. Everything is clean again. Perfect meaning to "A new day". No footprints in the morning other than the one or two early birds searching a breakfast in the chilled, dead ground. The strength of the nights frosted sleep is redeemed to energy at sunrise for search of an unlucky earthworm. To see it from afar, the white lacey snowed lands stretching with glistening shades of white like some duvet grasped close to the Earth for some warmth is just as inspirational as looking at it in such detail, to see each spoke of the snowflake as it glistens in the reflected light from it's brothers and sisters. Each snowflake unique, like each human, each fingerprint, each mind. Poetry in motion. Each snowflake, a shard of heaven blessing us with it's presence, it's beauty and it's complexity...
Just a few things which crossed my mind at the thought of the snow.. I do love it though

Yeah, Lasher, I have written some poetry.. but I can only seem to write in the rhyming sense.. I don't know.. it gives it a beat or a rythem if you will...
I have a few poems but you know.. Not alot I like to share..
I would share if there was a way of copyrighting it though 'cause I think I should have a right to keep my thoughts my own... Lots of stealers out there..
Not being conceted when I say that.. I think everyone should have the choice to keep what they make.. it's only fair. |

Oh! No that's perfectly fine and understandable. I'm parnoid about letting others read my hardcore writing material (the stuff i want to get published, rather than meffed up version and thoughts of it and such) So yeah. I'm funny about that stuff to so don't worry. Although i don't mind people like fallen reading parts and such now and then to give me good feedback. She's good for it That sounds so dirty but yeah.
Any how, what you wrote about snow, basically was poetic if you ask me. And it didn't rhyme or anything and it was still good, so don't worry. |
