so um... why not let the goths do their goth s**t, the blacks do their black s**t, the good charolette do their good charolette s**t and leave everyone the f**k alone? you know why they continue to act that way? because they're comfortable with it. might aswell be comfortable with what you are than living trying to fit in with everyone. face the facts, if you're goth, you're not trying to fit in with the populars, are you? if you're a rapper, you're not trying to fit in with the rockers, are you? (exception with jay z and linkin park, haha.)

But yeah, they have a point. you don't have to like it, but just let them be. If they really are what they say, are acting to be. Then it's all alright and cool. If not, they'll be miserable, pathetic beings for the rest of their lives, unless they get some balls and just be themselves. Actually, I wouldn't have mentioned Good Charlotte at all, being as it's not the music forum and none of my business. She didn't ask for opinions on her sig, and as long as it's not audio and I'm not being forced to read it (generally just skip sigs after reading them once), what's it to me.

She didn't do anything wrong. Didn't you all get enough pseudo-goth/prep/punk/jock/whatever bashing in the other two threads that ended up closed?

No offense, but I'm closing this just because the point has been lost. Whether her account was truly hacked or not, what does it matter? As long as her posts are not currently "omg I'm gunna kill meself!", it doesn't.

And really, the original point of the thread was covered recently, as well. The whole "that's not goth!" "so what?! It's COOL" "It's a mockery of the subculture" "SO?! STFU! UR JUSS JUDGING MEEEEE!" thread. Rolling eyes

Let the whiny kids grow out of their black eyeliner and Manson obsessions, just like most will hopefully grow out of N'sync and boyband posters.
