The Mock Punk Song

I thought I'd do a mock punk song, so over the course of me writing it, I'll post snippits of it here. I'd also appreciate ideas and insight.
Here's the first part to it. See if it sounds "punk" enough for you.

I'm actually gonna add some of that later on.
You know, all the vocalists do is put on a weak British accent and sing.
And I have the effects.

Speaking of which, I'm going to record the common punk solo now.
Actually, I just added drums to it. See if you like. Solo is next.

You dad likes my rant on Good Charlotte. Why don't I just ask him for your hand in marriage, he'll say "Yes".
I do have some more ready. So far the lyrics are:
Failed geometry
I slit my wrists
I'm really really angsty
So I wrote a kill list
Wanted a dog
Got a radio instead
My cat is really fat
This sucks
I'm losing my head

Almost certainly more to come! Thinking of ripping off something from Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" to anger the copyright lawyers. Wink

I'm more into the Cassualties punk, or rockabilly/psychobilly....so this doesnt do it for me....actually, I dont think it sounds punk at all, way way too slow. You need a double bass on the drums, I hope your putting a bass part in, are you gonna mix two guitars together? Maybe a rythm guitar with another one playing some awesome riffs? I personally love bass solos, so that would be an awesome addition!!! Throw some anger in to it and scream your head off!!! lol jk....but that's my opinion......The recording is a little shaky so I cant really hear much of anything but the vocals and a little of the drum machine. heh. Sorry, but the vocals are way too whiny. I mean, just not for punk. Good for maybe emo or soft punk....but not for punk. It doesnt make me wanna get up and mosh.....maybe go to sleep? heh. Dunno if you wanted a critique on it....if you didnt than just ignore me ^_^
