A new year... a new resolution.

Mine, as suggested by my (friend...) rob .. "To be braver"
But to be braver in the respect I wont to, would be slightly... I dont know embarrassing for someone else as well as me.

1. Spend a little more time with the family every day

2. I've decided to try and make myself a little stronger during a drastic change in life (ex- loved one dying, severe heartbreak due to any reason or purpose)

3. Stay a virgin as long as I can

4. Make new friends! ^_^ (I know I'm not, but I feel so [i]cute![/i] Rolling eyes

)

5. Stay in the same relationship and make it as meaningful as possible

6. Drink more water (I'm watching the auquafina commercial right now!)

That's about it. Call me pathetic if you want to, but this past year was not as great as it could've been because I did almost exactly the opposite of what I'm gonna change above- except for #4. I always do that. Although at the end of the year (august- december) has been the best part of the year for me. I dunno why.

~ Spend more time with people. I'm really not big on "hanging out", except for with a couple people.

~ Drop 10 pounds. It won't happen, but I like to say it will.

~ Don't get lazy, which I'm already having a real hard time with. I've got a load of work to do in the next two days, and I've already had a week to do it. Not a bit of it touched yet.

But seeing as how I always forget what my resolutions even were about a week into January, it really doesn't matter.

Lol... yeah. I have a stack load of corusework to complete by Tuesday, I tried to start it last Wednesday but the pc is so tempting.. just sitting here *strokes it* I'd say the PC is my long life friend, but I'd get weird looks. Heck I get them aways! PC IS MY FRIEND!

And I'll make a new resolution.. keep up with the gym. Laziness is so fullfilling to the comfort zone in my brain. But I do like running and I do enjoy so maybe I'll survive through to the end on January.

I've never actually kept one of these for longer than 3 days (Should go in the Things About Me thread, eh)

...I guess I will join a gym.. get a little fitter and work on muscles.. AND keep at it.
Try to eat healthier and more often.
Try to be more understanding and not such an asshole to the family Razz

Apply myself to everything I do.
Stay at college and actually Try and pass the course Razz

2. Excersise at least once a day

3. Not to get so damn nervous when I have to sing in front of people

4. Learn how to sing Sweet Child O Mine by Guns 'n Roses without making it sound like a pop song. <_<

5. Dance like Axl Rose Cool

6. Get tickets to a Velvet Revolver concert by any means neccisary

7. Try to make things right between this guy and me. We haven't spoken since New Year's Eve ('cuz his girlfriend got mad at him 'cuz he got caught "flirting with me." So he blames me and I just want us to be friends again. Sad

)

Not very good, I know and half of these I won't even commit to but there's always hope. ^^;;

I learned because a friend is in love with it.
She's happy now, but not what I'd call hot, although she ranks up there.
-Date the hot girl
-Kiss the hot girl
-Continue dating the hot girl
-Play Paradise City as a cover and use the bassline from "Coma" as an onstage warm up until I come up with better.
-Scratch the above, I came up with something, no matter how weird it sounds.
-Get a gig
-Use a solo that sounds melodically experienced.
-Write the next great rock ballad
-Be the lone singer on 3 songs or more, preferably a cover of "Hunger Strike" or "Spoonman"
-Kick Axl Rose's ass in a major lawsuit
-Kick Slash's ass with a solo so great God himself will proclaim me the new messiah! I can dream about the messiah part, but kicking Slash's ass is a legitimate goal

I had my rez in early december. A lot of things were happening and people kept telling me things I should do since I wasn't all that happy. It eventually generated to the motto of '05. [b]GFHL[/b]. [b]G[/b]et [b]F[/b]riends [b]H[/b]ammered & [b]L[/b]aid. These things I shall do by December 31st, 2005. I already got the first one done. Damn she's even hot and the guy is cool and will get me more friends and get me to cooler parties. Can't wait to get this rez done with. I'll be much more content with my life. Smile

It's gay but whatever, it will make me happier in the long run.
