No, it's not fair, but it is part of our rules regarding quality control, rules which are there for good reason. If you care enough to show your work to others, please care enough to do it on plain (non-lined) paper. And don't give us any excuses about not being able to get plain paper because we've heard them all, and I can dig up old topics to prove it.
Doodle on the back of old quizzes or handouts. Sneak a sheet or two from the home printer. Or spend like $5 at your local store to get 300+ sheets of printer paper in a ream (and boy, will THAT last you forever). It's not hard to find plain paper, all you have to do is look in the right places. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Are you talking about colored art, or black and white lineart? If it's not colored you can mess with how light and dark the scanned image is, which should wash out the lines. Then it's just a matter of erasing. I really don't know what to tell you if it's colored, just next time use good, white paper. No one wants to see every little doodle, and I'm sure it's in the rules somewhere, it's been effect for awhile now.
Remember, you should only post your best work on the internet, and lined paper gives the impression that you didn't try very hard. |

*sigh* ok, if the paper you drew on has BLUE lines, you can fade them out. I believe Strata has a tutorial on how to do it...I'm not sure though. |

Yeah, that old thing.... be warned, the tutorial isn't perfect (it mostly depends on the exposure settings when you scanned it).
Pandora, if you have an FAC account, go right ahead and log in. The forum and main site are different login sessions, but both of them answer to the same usernames/passwords. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
