Went with Steve Tyler. Just because it's more of a physical trait than purposeful trademark that sets him apart. Anyone could paint their face or wear a certain thing, but there's only one Steve Tyler.

I thought of this in the middle of an English exam so sorry if its a bit shakey. Its just that a lot of great rock bands or band members have that one trademark about them (whether its an object or something they do) that everyone remembers. For example, even if someone has never heard of Slash, they have seen or heard of "that guitarist with the huge hat." So thats what I'm just curious about. Which trademark rules above all? _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

I'm going for Keith Richards total look. It's like he electrocutes himself every morning to get his hair done. There is no one like Keith. |

I voted for Ozzy's bats because even when I was a kid with bad taste in music I knew about that. _________________ |

That's more of an unfortunate event he'd like to forget than a trademark. But it is well-known, I suppose...

I voted KISS's makeup because I saw it before I knew who KISS was.

He bit off dove heads too? That actually sounds more symbolic than funny but I'm weird like that.
Long live the Prince of F*cking Darkness!
And if anyone really cares, I'm the one who voted for Slash's hat. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

He did the doves before the bat. It was right after he got the record deal, and they'd set up a meeting for all the execs to meet him. None were too thrilled, so Sharon suggested he take some doves in his pockets and throw them up in the air as a symbolic gesture. And as usual, he was piss drunk, sat on the knee of one of the women, pulled out the first dove, and bit its head off (there's a few pictures out there...).
They were thrown out, and he bit the head off the second one and threw it at the receptionist on their way out.
In that case he knew they were real, instead of the bat mistake. Of course, the bat did result in funny rabies shots... _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Oh sh*t! They were supposed to be fake? That is pretty damn funny. Rabies shots suck too.
Ozzy's bats and doves are pretty memorable. But thats like in third place. Steve Tyler's lips were in second but they like tie in first too with the hat. I mean c'mon! Those lips are why he's still so hot, y'know? _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Well, not supposed to be fake. He used to do that to rubber bats in Sabbath. Someone threw a bat onstage, and he thought it was rubber, so...

Indeed. Animals don't have a great history with them, but it makes for great stories.

Good times man...
I remember watching something about this band who was actually chopping off live animal heads durring a show and they trew a pig head into the audience and it knocked one random fan out.
I don't remember if the band got sued but it made for a good laughs and a TV special. ^_^
...nobody's voting in my poll... Just the cool people and no one else. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

I voted for KISS's makeup, because it's one of the more obviious traits and I've known what KISS looked like since I was little.
Uhg, all this animal abuse stuff is making me want to become a vegetarian. |

And it looks like something has finally taken a good lead with KISS's makeup having 50% of the vote. I shouldn't be surprised but I actually am...well surprised. Oh well. We need more people voting. There must be someone who appreciates the greatness of Slash's hat like I do.

Go to a Velvet Revolver concert then. All the goodness of great rock music without the chopping off of animal heads. The only one being abused there is Axl Rose and the abuse is subliminal.
