Artistic Burnout

It makes art class hard when you can't think up anything creative to draw,etc. Too bad there's not medication for it, huh?

If there was a medication for creative block it would be nothing more than a drug. Imagination has to come from within. Never let a substance subsitute for creativity. Your mind is the one thing no one can take from you.

I know. Just look at The Beatles. They're the first thing I thought about when I saw this post. I'm just strongly against anything taking over my mind, including antidepresants and all those drugs they give kids to calm down and focus in school. Modern medicine is wonderful, but their's a point where people tend to turn to it to solve all their problems.

While I don't think it'd be such a good idea to drug people up so they see giant pink ducks and want to draw them... some artists do some pretty damn cool stuff. Gotta admit Aerosmith hasn't done anything as good since they were on coke. Sad

Not that I'd rather them overdose than be around to perform, just sayin'.
