I've read up to the 10th one and have yet to see the movie. *eye twitch* I really want to, because the books have a strange attraction to them. I don't really have a favorite though, what draws me to them is Lemony Snicket's sarcastic way of writing. I'm hugely sarcastic myself so, I adore them from that.
Plus, odd things often happen while I'm reading the books. |

Well, you can't expect them to get it right. lol. Plus, I think we would have a really really really long movie on our hands if they did the whole series. As for mixed up... well, can;t have them being exactly the same, as long as the characters are about right... were they? I haven't seen the movie. |

No, you don't get it. ALl they have to do is slap on a new name and new character names and no one would even suspect it was related to A series of Unfortunate Events. I literally asked the guy outside 3 times if I was in the right theater. |

Good choice, although you could watch the movie for fun. ^_^ After I asked the guy for the third time, he said, "Ouch, that bad huh?" It was just exactly like you said... I just had to point that out. |

I've read all the books, the 'Unauthorized Biography of Lemony Snicket' and seen the movie. The movie was actually what made me read the books. I thought the movie was pretty good, but maybe that's cause I wasn't familiar with the series yet, I do tend to go off on movies when they're not acurate to the books they're based on. I love the writing style of the books, scarcasm is always good. And I love his comments to his sister and such. I can't wait to see what happens next.
...You didn't really expect the movie to cover the entire series, right? I mean, it's not even finished yet, and that would be a really long movie if they tried... |

No I didn't expect them to cover the entire series, nor did I expect them to put the first book at the ending! <_< |

i like the books, but the movie confused me, i was so lost...what did a watch have to do with it or did i miss something? _________________ My candle burns at both ends;
