First, Strata is right, you do [i]not[/i] start threads like this. You politely PM the person you have an issue with, or if you feel something may be against the rules you call in a moderator. Also by PM. Not an open post in a public forum.

Second, I expected there to be someone who wouldn't like my avatar, but publicly attacking me is [i]not[/i] the way to get me to change it. Actually, attacking me about it makes me less likely to do what you want and listen to anything you say in the future. I'm bull-headed, what can I say.

Third, sign in when you post. Posting something like this anonymously makes you look like a coward in my opinion. If you think your beliefs are right, stand up for them. I do.

*Sigh* This is why I asked Kate if kissing was ok before I put it up. She didn't actually see the pic though, I was gonna show it first but you can't attach files in the Announcements forum. Which is why I [i]tried[/i] to call in Lasher, but the PM isn't in my sent box like it's supposed to be, so I don't think she got it...Have to try again after I turn this paper in....

Now I really am going to turn in this paper, and cool down a bit. Then I'll try another PM since I think the first one vanished into thin air.

And, guest posting or not, the mods can still figure out who they are and warn them to not make such a big stink over it.

Next time, "guest", just use the PM function to begin with. Making a public spectacle just encourages people to choose sides -- and you don't want that.

I compromised when there was debate over my former fake bondage avatar, but hers is nowhere near to "controversial". Kissing, whether hetero or not, is PG. Hell, it's pretty much G these days. Thus appropriate for all ages. Your argument holds no water. Just because [i]you[/i] don't like it, doesn't make it offensive as a whole.

Sorry you don't like it, but there are and have been a lot of avatars here I personally don't like. But I don't post an anonymous message like a little bitch.
