So what do you metalheads think? What's the most headbanging song to ever grace God's green earth? Cool No more polls 'cuz I always forget a bunch of candidates that should be on my polls. So just say who you think makes you shake your head up and down like a maniac.

Personally, whenever I listen to Thunderstruck by AC/DC I have to do as much headbangin' as humanly possible. Even if its in public I have to nod my head up and down violently. You just can't beat that beginning and those riffs. Cool

Most any AC/DC song is headbang-worthy. If it wasn't, what would Angus do on stage?

Other than AC/DC songs, the Cum On Feel The Noize cover by Quiet Riot is pretty headbang worthy. As is "Bang Your Head", but that's too obvious...

"I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister.

"Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row.

I love that song with a passion. Laughing A friend of mine told me to listen to it on his CD player and I just started to randomly bang my head up and down. Got strange looks from people though. They acted like they've never seen a person headbanging before.

Surprisingly I can't think of any GnR songs that are headbanging worthy. Excellent songs but I just can't find my self headbanging to Welcome to the Jungle or Sweet Child (God help anyone who tries to headbang to that. Rolling eyes ) I guess Paradice City is pretty bitchin' when it comes to headbanging. Actually its very good for headbanging. I listened to it today on a trip to Hartford and I just kept nodding up and down to the beginning riffs. Once again I had to stop due to strange looks from people (and the baby in front of me Rolling eyes ) It was very hard to resist headbanging to this song due to my good mood and when I'm in a good mood I could headbang to Celine Dion. Well...maybe not to that. Uneasy
Most any AC/DC song is headbang-worthy. If it wasn't, what would Angus do on stage?
And thus, fallen has covered about thirteen headbanging songs in a single sentence. Laughing You just gotta love Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. My second favorite headbanging song next to Thunderstruck. Very Happy

Paradise City is definitely a headbang song. Axl's hair flipping back and forth in the video...The white leather...What was the topic again?

You can headbang to "Bad Obsession", but I wouldn't say it's the best song for it. Also "Nice Boys" and "Back Off Bitch".

I actually got into a discussion about headbanging on on trip to NYC. We talked about how headbanging varies between genders. We concluded that guys tend to headbang more violently than girls. I didn't really agree with the conclusion even though I was guilty of just nodding my head up and down to the beat of a song and calling it "headbanging." So to prove my friends wrong (they even believed that women are possibly unable to headbang as hard as guys) I tried to headbang as hard as could to Green Day's American Idiot (I was voted out, okay?!) If anything my hair was just messed up a bit afterwards and in my friend's opinions I looked pretty stupid. But I was headbanging to Green Day so I was doomed from the start. Rolling eyes

Guns 'n Roses "Live and Let Die" kicks ass when it comes to headbanging. And believe it or not I can headbang to the guitar solo in "Don't Cry" by GnR.

And fallen's right. Let's see some song names people. We're trying to get ideas for the most bitchin' headbanging songs. Razz
Bohemian Rhapsody in Wayne's World.
Dude, no one is gonna be able to imitatate that scene. Laughing Classic man... Cool

That reminds me. On the way to NYC someone put in Queen's Greatest Hits Volume 1 and we listened to it for like an hour. I found myself headbanging to "We Are the Champions" and "We Will Rock You." Only one other person would headbang with me and sing along too. Everyone else just watched and laughed...and then I spilled coffe on the van rug.

Bohemian Rhaspody wasn't on Volume 1. Sad I was so dissapointed 'cuz I really wanted to recreate the scene (in spite of what I just said above.) No such luck...recreated Slither by Velvet Revolver though. Cool

And to get back on topic..."Photograph" by Def Leapord can be considered headbanging worthy. It really depends on the mood you're in. I was in a really spazzy mood in NYC so I ended up hitting my head into the van doors (by accident of course. Rolling eyes ) My friends didn't think too much into it. It was just me being a rock spaz to them. Rolling eyes

Maybe "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones, not sure. "Raining Blood" by Slayer is one I find myself headbanging to.
i think anything with just the right amount of emo and good guitar and drum riffz rock
But is it headbangin'? Solos can be good but it takes a special kind of rock for it to be totally bitchin' and just allows yourself to lose all control of your neck muscles and just headbang till you hit against a van door. Cool

And please give some examples. I really don't consider emo headbanging but if you give an example (song and band name to be specific) then I could listen to the song and agree or disagree with you. Razz
