Do you have any obsessive compulsive habits?
I can't stand it when my keyboad is crooked...or when a rug is crooked...I can't stand it when my bed IS made...I have to delete all my emails after I read them...
-Sorry if this thread is spamming...I'm just bored. |

the thing that i cant stand the most are VERY clean houses for me, there has to be atleast a tweak of disorder somewhere, anywhere! my granny's house is a REALLY CLEAN house.....i dont know how i live when i go over there sometimes i make a mess over at her house just for that reason (not make the bed, leave something on the floor like a sock or a shirt, etc, etc.) although i do get pretty rammed when she notices my teeny messes ^_^ heh, heh i know im weird..... |

I can't stand any bends or anything on my manga. It's weird... The weirdest thing is that it is rubbing off on my friend... o.O |

I agree with Gray that is physically impossible and even IF you did your hands would be raw and overly dry <_<
I think I have a bad habit of repeating myself WAY to much others I just wouldn't consider obsessive. _________________ I'm just a simple MEGGY MAE. |

I heard it is possible but I'm not sure...what do I know I'm only 13...I don't think its possible for EVERY 5 minutes but I heard of ppl who wash their whole entire arms after they touch somthing...I'd have to call that obsessive compulsive... |

it is possible ...there are a lot of people who do it , they are really worried about being dirty and they hardly ever leave the house because they are so worried they are going to get ill , they continuously wash themselves to get rid of germs and stuff that could make them ill .....but its more likley to be every 20 minutes rather than every 5 .... dont ask me how i know all this , blame the t.v , i saw all this about 2 years ago when i was 11 , i dont know how i remembered it all !!! |

Nessa, the qoute in your signature isn't done coreectly. You need to go edit it and at the end of the qoute, you need to put [/QOUTE] for it to show up properly like a real quote. Just thought you might want to know.
On subject:
I don't think you all quite understand what OCD is. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is anxiety based, as a form of anxiety. It has to do with racing thoughts that often circle around certain subject of matter to where it's hard for you to function because of that certain subject.
I'm diagnosed with Anxiety and i'm OCD but i just tend to try and ignore it. But for example on what OCD might be for those who might not know or have the wrong idea of it. I for one example, if my truck isn't clean inside and out. The windows are dirty and even though i put on the washer to clear where i need it, my mind just constantly races about how there's still dirt in the corners and down the bottom and top where the wipers can't reach. Like during the winter, we just had the truck clean and it was just covered in sand and such from the roads and it being winter. And the only reason i didn't freak was because i never drove it for the past month until now. But when i started driving it, i had to have it clean because i'd constantly think about getting my hands dirty when i got out and shut the door or opened it. Or that it's get on my gloves or someone elses and what not. And it's just always running through your head.
I'm the same with my folders, notebooks, all that. They have to organized and in order, clean and straight and put a certain way on my bookshelves or it just gets to me and i can't stop thinking about it. I'll always look at it if i walk by it and keep glancing at it. Right now i'm starring at the shelf the DVD's are on. Someone put a DVD ontop of the others instead of lining it up with the others properly and for the past week i've been constantly starring and glancing at it. Trying to ignore it and keep it as it is.
OCD is seriously annoying. Everyone is OCD about other things. I'm OCD about being clean and organized. I hate have things not lined up right or tidy. I can keep my bed un made bit it has to look a certain way.
etc etc etc |

Only real thing I do is I have to make sure all doors are shut, I'll drop anything if someone leaves a door open when they walk out of the room. I don't think I'm OCD, but today there was a door I thought I left open and it bugged me all day. _________________ "You know what? It could be. If it bothers you to where you think about it and try and ignore it but can't or your mind races at all. Probably. I'm not a doctor though so i can't say.

Sometimes it really bothers me and sometimes it doesn't. Today was one of the former. Not that it matters much. I generally don't bother people with things that are getting to me, physical or not. If it was harmful, like washing my hands until they bleed, then I'd get help, but as it is it's just some stupid habit to me. _________________ "You know what? I basicly clean my hands every time I am near a sink. I just need to clean them.
I used to be this big ol' neat freak, but now I am not. THOUGH I DO Aphabeticalize(sp? of course damnit, i know I can't spell worth a damn) everything. Videos, my games for my PS2, my books at home, my beanie babies (yes I still have those things). Everything. EXCEPT my cds those go in order of my favorites. Right now on the top is Velvet Revolver Cause slash is just a sexy beasty (xD! sorry inside joke there).
I have tendcy to over informationalize everything. I remember items (ei after watching discovery channel and animal planet) and I tell everyone about it twice, just to make sure they know what I know right?
I can't stand it when people make frickin' ignorant stereotypes. It annoys the piss out of me, even when I do it by accident I get annoyed with my rotting flesh.
ALSO, I have this issue with death. People just get so scared by it that I totally freak them out with random facts about death LIKE:
You are going to be come someone else's food when you. So you going to turn into a big pile of s**t one day.
Oh and other interesting things like that. I know atleast a billion (exaggerating if you want to take that frickin' literal) ways of killing someone and i know a lot about mummies (not just the eqyptian mummies now. there are Buddist Mummies in Japan, Inca mummies in the andies, its very interesting you should read up on mummies, you know because they read an arabic book wrong that mummies were ground up and became medicines and that mummies were used to make a brown color in paintings.)
I hate to make phone calls, but I love the internet beyond compare. (I mean if your using dial up you see the irony)
I laugh at horror movies, because they bore me. (Except the Sixth Sense now that was some fucked up s**t right there. ). And my favorite author is Poe(Black Cat was the s**t).
I hate 1337 speak. It just irrates me and I have to remember all that crap about numbers and people add s**t all the time to it, so it's annoying when they do s**t like that.
I can't seem to spot f**king cursing. Ever since I started, I'm addicted. I need to curse. Cursing is like a normal speech to me but when I am talking with people normally and I just make a whole sentence full of curses. They just get f**king bitchy about it and start telling me how I should stop swearing and all that regular ol' bullshit.
I think that's about it. _________________

From a poetic or maybe even biblical point of view, people who constantly have to wash their hands have trouble with their concience, or have guilt problems. We all know macBeth's wife, or Pilates.
Done anything you shouldn't lately?
And yeah gray, that mummie talk isn't impressive. I pwn you @ mummies. |
