on a more serious note, beware of the evilness that is pinkeye. do not attach urself to the screen and take a mere thirty seconds every 20 minutes to look at something else. We do not want an Everquest scenerio to occur. Feed your children and go to ur jobs, FAC is always open for ur return.

Brief Bio (for my information you can always go to my personal webiste). My name is Melissa, I'm 26 years old and I live in Punta Gorda, Florida (Also Known As Hurricane Charley's Bee-ach, since we were pimped slapped this past Hurricane Season) with my Husband, Jim, and our siamese cat named Gizmo.

I hand raised Gizmo and her brother Stick, after someone killed their mother (they were three weeks old; so cute) so you'll most likely hear a lot about her, since she's the closest thing I've got to a child.

I'm an art student, currently I'm attempting to return to school in Sarasota, FL (Ringling School of Art and Design). I had to take a break from school and work, after my Crohns Disease flared up in September 2002 -- we're just now getting it into remission.

I've got a couple of illnesses but I have a bunch of competent doctors, so I've nothing to worry about anymore (Crohns Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Wolf-Parkenson-White Syndrome, and benigne cancer on ovaries, to name a few). Which would explain my frequent disappearances from the internet; I'm too new here for anyone to notice, but give it time... heh.

I freelance as an artist throughout the state of Florida. I work seasonally at Busch Gardens, in Tampa. And I design flash art for a friends tattoo/body piercing parlor (free piercings for all my work, yay!). In fact, I'm going to be getting a pair of talons put in today. I've got a pair of CBRs currently in the cart.

:-D I'm also a rambler... you'll notice that, too. Heh.

Commenting on every newbies artwork, is by far, not the best thing to do. It creates false hope and a false impression of what you think of them and their art to comment just to make friends and make them feel special. If anyone did so on my art i'd be highly offended. People should only receive comments for A) Realistic critisim Cool

Advice on howto improve C) Because you are a fan and something about a piece stands out to you.

And i'd watch what you say about the "old members" Logan. If anything, i'd advice newbies to stay away from you and reframe from adopting your ways, seeing as you've already earned yourself multiple warnings and are on a one road highway to being suspended at the rate your going. Yeah people, listen to him, you'll do reaaaaal good Rolling eyes

And nice to hear from you Melissa. I have three cats. Well, i have a cat, my mother has a cat, and so does my stepfather, to be exact. Simon, Cleo and Ally. Simons my baby, gotta love him. If you want to see pictures just go to www.lasher.org/gallery and look at the NJ (USA) cats. The others aren't our anymore due to a move a few year ago but meh.

How about powtaz taking that image out of his signature now and setting a good example for the newbies, seeing how it's bigger than allowed for images and all :wub: And your polite and listen to me when i ask you to, like a good member. Thank you powtaz :wub:

......You mean saying I'll leave comments on new member's pictures has gotten me warnings? Just out of curiosity, how many do I have? I know I got one from fallen for claiming to be gay. And another one for loving Lynda too much. It's beyond me why they gave me warnings, but theres little I can do about it.

At any rate, I just GOTTA post replies for these new members. I've seen quite a few good pictures from new members that have gone overlooked. It almost brings a tear to my eye. I love the new members more than anyone here, and I promise to make good on my word....which is a promise.

Yeah, you told me that. But unless you gave me both, I do believe Lynda gave me one when I started to proclaim my love for her. I don't care if she gives me a warning...secretly, I will always love her.

Did i say you were warned? Because i usually say so and for what reason, and from what i can see, i didn't say anything like that. I merely stated my opinion on what you were doing or said you would do. I don't think anyone should go around giving comments on other's artwork just to make them feel liked and welcomed. If they're that insecure, i'm sorry to hear that. But the comment feature is for real feedback on ones work. You post your art on FAC, then your posting it for others honest opinions on it, advice, help, any way of improving and such. Not for the "OMG! This ROCKZ!" Sort of thing <_< Which by the way, i hate when people do on mine *mutters* Do yourself a favor and don't go putting words in my mouth Logan, i don't react well to it.

Well, first off, i'd liketo welcome you to the FAC forums. But i'd also just like to make one thing clear to you. As the others pointed out already, it's not a good idea to go around posting random images as so. Especially such large ones WTF?

It's what we call SPAM (stupid, pointless, annoying messages/messaging) And we have rules about that here. You might want to go and read up on the forum rules in the site discussion section of the forum before posting to much okay? That way we're all less likely to have problems and you don't have people jumping down your throat Wink

And just look around anywhere you can to get a feel for the place.

I should probably go visit that place sometime and see how it's doing, it's been far to long. And i'm sure i can find some info on the new FFVII coming out. Screencaps and all. Any how, hey, do you have any artwork up or did you just join the forum or what not?

Welcome Kari. And don't worry. Not everyone here is a complete asshole. Some people (like me) are actually nice. You'll learn about the place if you explore it a little bit. Just look around, and don't try to be cool to fit it. (Trust me, it doesn't work.) And don't get on the mods' bad side, or they'll suspend you. Otherwise, have fun. And welcome again to FAC.
