Okay, Shiek looks alot like a dude, but he/she I'm sure is Female. Theres only proof: ever read what it says in the SSBM Manual?
FYI: I do NOT think Shiek is hot in any way shape or form, I've seen people that do though.....*Shudders* |

No but seriously I think she's a woman.. A very masculine, strong, dirty, hairy, tattoo'd woman but the squishy bits are where they're meant to be and that's what a woman is, in my eyes.. |

Hmmm...hard question. I like to think that there's a real Sheik out there somewhere, just cause Sheik is cool and I was [i]really[/i] disappointed when 'he' turned out to be Zelda. He was the coolest character in the game up till then. Removes all the mystery and allure when the enigmatic young man turns out to be the princess. I [i]like[/i] mystery men. The game needed some intrigue.
Well, I'm gonna go with male, cause I like to think the 'disguise' was at least based on a different person. I've got a pic of him...he's a cute kid! |

I say Zelda just copied the real Sheik. I mean how long would it take her to make up some guy and his costum in such a short period of time if Ganondorf was after her. She must have heard stories about a Shiek from Impa and copied him. Well thats what I think at least  |

| Unusual argument, but Princess Ruto refers to Sheik as a boy - the disguise is meant to be male, I think, although Zelda is a female. Still, doesn't really matter too much! |

I think it matters.
It will clear up my vision on Zelda, SHIEK JUST PLAIN OLD CONFUSES ME! And I think the only wall we'll find out the true answer is by writing to Nintendo. But I opened this poll for opinions. |

| I suppose you're right! But I still say: Sheik is a male disguise used by the female Zelda, because Ganondorf is looking for a girl and is less likely to suspect a guy of being Zelda in disguise, right? |

| Yes, I agree with you in a sense that Zelda has enough magic power to alter her appearance in any way. But I still think Shiek is a girl. |

Sheik is a female DISGUISED as a male. the arguments against are:
ABS! awnser: EXERSISZE or Magic (wich Zelda has in spades)
A Complex persona! awnser: See that thing on her hand? its called Triforce of Wisdom! (I assume thats how she learned her l33t ninja moves)
No Boobs! (omgwtfle) awnser: Yes they are there!

I used to think it was a boy until i found out it was zelda, now im confused... my head hurts im going for a lie down....
Maybe shiek is asexual, or doesnt have a defined gender |

It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:
