i wouldn't call that flaming if u commented nicely on the drawing....its ur opinion on who u don't like and do like it when a drawing is done.....

if u were to leave a comment that was saying just "JLO sucks"...then that wouldn't be right...but if u were to say like "im not a big fan of JLO...but i like ur picture...and just like put little comments here and there about the picture..." that would be alright i guess...

Thats what i think flaming and non-flamming basically is...i don't think i have to say what right out flaming is...since thats the main topic...and i already really wrote a s**t load of stuff in my very first comment about flamming ::points to first post:: Cool

anyway thats just me...

Dragonsun I agree totally. I have had people flame me so bad on some pictures from artist that cant figure what end of the mouse to put on the pad, but I said thank you for your comment and they went away. I have people that can draw suddly tell me they like my style from 20 years ago better, I thanked them too. I porposely put my art on some forums and know I will get it, but thats how you learn. if someone is nasty in how they tell you, it may thier personality...or lack of. but I take the best out of what they say and bury the rest (delete). if you do it to soon they figure their little azz is gettin to ya and they come back. I just let it fly anymore...lifes to short.

Hm, you don't strike me as the flaming type. I don't think I could ever envision you leaving a comment like "OMFG!!!111 THIS SUXXORZ!!!!" Razz

I don't consider commenting on the subject flaming. I do it, and it's usually about people like JLo as well. People don't want comments about the subject, they shouldn't draw them. Heh, if I considered every comment of "Dude, they suck!" "Damn fags" or "he's such a fatass now" a flame, I'd spend most of my time pissed. I'm not them, what do I care what people's opinions are.

Aw, don't worry about it. Most people don't know who I'm drawing because they've never heard of 'em. I really like your picture, but I don't know many names or faces. Don't pay enough attention to actors.

i like that reasoning fallen...but i still comment on peeps pics and say nice things about them...and say where i think it should be fixed on if there are any places that need to be fixed...of course im not the greatest artist...so this is from my point of view.....

getting a little off topic...when i was just looking at the pics that i put up...i found one that u commented on...i think u might have been the first comment on it...cause i first took it down then replaced it...cause there was a really bad flame on it <_< and at the time i couldn't delete it....

I loved ur "Reasoning/Habit" on that comment...

Anyway...thats really all

I do agree that drawings done on lined paper shouldn't be submitted to the site. Those drive me crazy. To me those lines ruin the pictures.
Haven't some flamers been put on the Wall of Shame now? That's sure where they need to be. People who flame really have no regard to other people's feelings. I'm sure there are a few artists on the site who have low self-esteem already and certainly do not need a flamer's comments.
