I screencapped the Dirty Little Thing video. Got the best ones of Scott 'cause he's on camera the most. Slash is always in shadow. Grr... It'd be easier if I could find an actual file to download instead of streaming video where I have to be quick with the pause and keep going over and over parts to get a decent frame. But enough bitching, on with the pictures!

Somehow you had a feeling I would post first on this topic, admit it.

The one thing I loved about this video was that almost half of the members had their chests exposed. ^_^ It was like finally, its not just women who will be oversexed in videos. These guys do a great job of that and I for one, am not complaining. ^_^ They should stick to that look. Its very becoming of them.

Heh, heh, I love how cartoon Slash's hair looks as though its gonna overpower his body its so big. And cartoon Scott.... ...I really don't know what to say that probably hasn't already been said about this anorexic version of Scott Weiland.

Yeah, that does suck but at least he gets some time in the light durring the solo. Unlike the other guitarist, Dave Kushner (I swear I know a guy with almost the exact same name, its errie. And he loves VR too. ) I didn't even know he was a part of the band until I saw him in the Fall to Pieces video. I mean, at least Izzy got some limelight in Guns 'n Roses. Now this other guitarist is completely overshadowed by Slash. And yet, I'm not that upset about this. *Shrugs* Guess thats a typical Slash fan thought of me.

I love Scott Weiland's arm tattoos. :wub: I love it when rockstars tattoo their whole arm. Its very sexy. ^_^

Dammit, I really want to use the Duff to Scott's rescue pic but I know for a fact that people will bitch about it. <_< I like the bottom one of Duff and Scott. ^_^ Rockstars need to hug more when they aren't drunk off their ass. Where are you finding all of these pics? :huh:

Like I did for the longest time. I'm totally serious about that. The countdown lady on VH1 called Duff a woman and I actually believed her. *coughDUMBASScough* So for two days I carefully studied the Fall to Pieces video and after a while I realized that Duff's arms are way to bulky to be a woman's arms so I figured that VH1 made a mistake. Either that or Duff is a very ugly woman. :wacko:

Oh he's all male... There's an old picture of Nikki with Duff and Slash, and a few people kept referring to Duff as "that random woman...who is she?". Granted it's an old, slightly blurry photo, and it was when he was still glam as fuck, but it was still obviously Duff.

Fall To Pieces = Best Duff video ever. Slash kinda gets screwed for camera time, but he got enough close ups in Guns. Got all the cool solos n' everything. Duff gets the most camera time he's ever had.

Somehow all that made me remember what I was going to say this morning. I remember playing the music video in school and everyone (who wasn't telling me to turn it off) asked me "You like those old guys?" Thats what I get from a lot of people and it just gets me really upset. Sure, maybe they're not in their prime but that doesn't mean they don't kick ass. I think if VR ended up not doing well in the future it would be because of that stereotype of them being the old rock guys.

I actually thought Slash got some good time in the video. Its not a long song for a 30 second solo and some close ups in the beginning and in the end were justifiable. ^_^ Plus, it was time for Duff to get some love. :wub: Actually, this was the most camera time I've seen Duff in since the wedding scene in November Rain (when Slash lost the wedding rings and Duff had some rings to use. Thats my favorite part of the whole video. ^_^)

Love your new avatar, fallen. In my opinion, thats the best closeup Duff ever got. Even in Guns I can't really remember Duff getting full headshots like he's getting now in VR. I was thinking about using that one but I had a feeling you'd use it so I stuck with the "manlove."

Oddly enough, most people just don't care around here. I've never heard a negative thing about VR, at least not directed at me. Only direct comment I've ever got was when my CD case was sitting open, and some random guy said "dude, they rock". Definitely more love for nu-metal n' that crap, but people tend to keep their mouths shut. But if it ever does come up, it's usually "oh yeah, those old guys". Such a shame, considering they're better than 99.99% of all the other groups out now, but having Scott as the frontman has definitely helped. He's still remotely current, as opposed to them going with one of the thousands of unknowns that sent them tapes.

Plus, press is press, so Scott's rehab helped them, if only for people paying attention to them to see how long it would take for Scott to screw up again.

Which reminds me...gotta save up for those DVDS.

Sometimes people I know are big fans of VR so it helps with people telling me "they're sh*t." Like on this trip to NYC a friend on mine (who I always knew as the girl into newer bands and Green Day's Biggest Fan) saw I had the VR CD and right away she took out Green Day album and put in the VR CD. Only thing that bugged me was that we listened to VR for only ten minutes and for the rest of the trip we listened to a crapload of Green Day. :wacko:

I haven't seen the Dirty Little Things video in a while. It seems like VH1 and MTV show the same five music videos over and over again. <_< Which is a shame 'cuz my little brother despretly wants to see it. I think I'm raising a pretty good rock fan if I do say so myself (he knows all the lyrics to Sucker Train Blues now which is favorite song only 'cuz it says "f*ck" quite a few times. )
