You mean a red x ?

Well, if you're linking the pic from a website, make sure that website allows linking. (example: angelfire, geocities do not allow it. photobucket.com does)

or make sure its in an acceptable format. no .bmp ... .jpg, .gif

Hm. Should work... You uploading directly to the site instead of linking.?

Or sometimes the image preview won't work, but once it's directly on the site, it usually does...

Ok, well, why don't you try submitting it, even though it may not appear on the picture preview. I'll approve it if it works, reject it if it doesn't.

(or make sure the file size isnt larger than 300k ... but I think the site automatically tells you if it's too large... o.0)

EDIT:

Aw, thanks! Very Happy

Yeah, I usually upload from my CPU. Otherwise I use photobucket. Try making it a JPEG

Ok, instead of me trying to explain things (I'm other words, I'm too lazy to write it up myself) I'll give you guys a couple of links to previous topics where the same question has been asked.

Here
Here

There's another one that was fairly useful... lemme go and find it... o.0

Edit:
And here

With photoshop, it should be easy to resize. :
Image > Image Size

Then you can change the size of the picture [pixels... try going for 700 pixels or less... that usually always will make it work and stuff... it does for me, at least].
