A midnight carnaval huh...Is you're game Dark Cloud 2...cause that the only game I've played that has a midnight carnaval in it ^-^

Bingo! The 'quotes' were chapter titles from two of the game's save points (shortly after Serge was transported to the paralell world, and from near the end of the game)

No, I don't think that is the answer. Dark Cloud 2 did open up with an evening/night carnival, but it was never a 'stage' or 'chapter' per s....

It's a series

Hint 1: 1st one for Super Famicon, 2nd for PS, 3rd one for PS2
Hint 2: Main character in first one is Ratix
Hint 3: Main character in 2nd one is Claude
Hint 4: Main character in 3rd one is Fayt, or Fate, depending on which version you played, Director's Cut or Normal.

If you've played this and can't figure it out by now, I will shoot you.
