Why Did The Pic I Submitted Not Get Accepted?

What did it say when you got the emails, notifying you that it was rejected?

Uh.. maybe it hasn't been approved or rejected yet? If you have a problem, you should contact the FAC staff through e-mail... O.o

No I checked, and they dont have anything waiting to be approved/rejected

It currently says you have one picture approved, plus one that's still waiting for approval. Are those the two you're referring to?

Next time, [b]don't jump to conclusions[/b] when you can't find your picture after submitting it. Approval times are usually a few hours, but [b]will[/b] vary depending on how many pictures (from other artists) are waiting in line ahead of yours, and which staff members are available to go through them.

There are two basic steps to that, really. First, you have to know how to tweak your scanner's exposure settings and resolution for the best results (leaving it on "auto", or not adjusting the settings at all, just won't do sometimes). If you happen to have an HP model scanner I can help you (since that's the kind I have myself), but for starters, read through your scanner's manual and explore the scan utility's menus and help system to find the options.

Then you just need a good program to handle the post-scan operations like resize, cropping, and saving. When saving, select the JPEG option from the dropdown listbox on the Save As dialog box. JPEG's work very well with scanned art (the loss of detail, usually, is barely noticeable) and have great compression (resulting in small file sizes and quick uploads).

they might not have liked it or their may have been somthing in it that was very innapropriate

If that is the case, then they should have received an e-mail saying that the picture was rejected and why.
