um i don't work out much, but i dance, and a we have some good techno songs that really make you move. i couldn't tell you any particular artist, but maybe if you picked up some techno compilations or something. err also in gym class we can listen to music while we're running, and i've found that a good ska playlist helps me run faster, because the music is fun and fast. hmm catch-22 and reel big fish are good ska bands, with more upbeat songs _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |

I can't stand to work out to techno. That's all the teacher played in aerobics every single day and it all sounds the same. I put together a compilation a long time ago of my favorite upbeat songs that are just as good as dance music.
"Dancing With Myself" - Billy Idol
"Mony Mony" - Billy Idol
"Rebel Yell" - Billy Idol (the whole Greatest Hits works well )
"Old Time Rock n' Roll" - Bob Seger (eh, more for a dance workout)
"Livin' On a Prayer" - Bon Jovi
"Runaway" - Bon Jovi
"You Give Love a Bad Name" - Bon Jovi
"You Spin Me Right Round" - Dead or Alive
"Slip of the Tongue" - Faster Pussycat
"Never Enough" - LA Guns
"Youth Gone Wild" - Skid Row
"Dude (looks like a lady)" - Aerosmith
"Love In an Elevator" - Aerosmith
"Take Me to the Other Side" - Aerosmith
"What Kind of Love Are You On" - Aerosmith
"Won't Let You Down" - Aerosmith
"Muscle of Love" - Alice Cooper
"It's My Life" - Bon Jovi (bleh, hate the song)
"Poison Ivy" - Faster Pussycat
"Welcome To the Jungle" - Gn'R (if Axl can get a body like that with these songs... )
"Bloodbath In Paradise" - Ozzy (happy song, eh? Gotta let it get past the intro)
"Born To Be Wild" - Ozzy's cover...with Ms. Piggy!
"Devil's Daughter" - Ozzy
"Miracle Man" - Ozzy
"Heroes Are Hard to Find" - Twisted Sister
"We're Not Gonna Take It" - Twisted Sister
"It's Raining Men" - Weather Girls
"Your Mama Don't Dance" - Poison
"Cry Tough" - Poison
"Talk Dirty To Me" - Poison
"I Want Action" - Poison
"Valley Of Lost Souls" - Poison
"Don't Give Up an Inch" - Poison
"Ride The Wind" - Poison
"Nothin' But a Good Time" - Poison
"Fallen Angel" - Poison
"Mama Kin" - Aerosmith
"Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" - Van Halen
"And the Cradle Will Rock" - Van Halen
"Panama" - Van Halen (and if you work out like Dave, you'll be all set)
"Jump" - Van Halen
"Looks That Kill" - Motley Crue
"Kickstart My Heart" - Motley Crue
"Dr. Feelgood" - Motley Crue
"Same Ol' Situation" - Motley Crue
"Back Off Bitch" - Guns n' Roses
"Seventeen" - Winger
"Can't Get Enuff" - Winger
"Pour Some Sugar On Me" - Def Leppard
"Cherry Pie" - Warrant
"Photograph" - Def Leppard
"Shake Me" - Cinderella
"You're In Love" - RATT
"Round and Round" - RATT
"Heartbreak Blvd" - Shotgun Messiah
"Rock You Like a Hurricane" - The Scorpions
Uh...there's a bunch more. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I agree, Billy Idol always gets me movin'. It's usually air karaoke time when he's on. 'Soul Standing By' rocks me socks, and "Man for all Seasons' |

Anything really, I listen to whatever music I feel like listening to at the time. Most of the music I listen to would be fast paced anyway. _________________ |
