I had The Usual Suspects ruined for me by a well meaning soul who gave away the ending. Couple that with the fact that I was dog-tired when I watched it and maybe it's understandable that I can't see what the fuss is about.

How about you guys? Are there any big films that everyone seems to love except you? Is there a reason, or do you just think they're overrated s**t?

Please do tell.

The only movie I really didn't get was The Scorpion King. I loved it for the first hour, but then, once it started closing up, I knew it wasn't going to really end, you know? Like the writers really had their heart set on doing a sequel to tie it in better to the Mummy movie. But because of that, it left me with a feeling of, "WTF?" I wanted more, darnit. What it gave me was nothing!

I didn't get The Forgotten. At the beginning I was like "Okay so the memories are being erased."Then at the end it was more like"What just happened? This is not ...what is this?"

The Hunger. Vampire flick that went nowhere. There were some good ideas, but no substance and no explanation for anything. There was only one good bit about the movie was the scene when you find out she's been keeping her dead lovers in boxes in the attic. Only redeming moment of the film. And the ending made even less sense than the rest of the movie, if that's bossible.

How can you not get Vanilla Sky?

The only movie I can think of... is House of the Dead. Because it didn't make any sense. I understood the horrible plot and why there were zombies and such... but the ending.. was just done so horribly. If I watched it again.... maybe I would have a better understanding.. but there is no way in hell I will ever watch that crap again.

Any of the Pokemon and Yugioh movies that were so popular way back when. Such cheesy lines and pointless storylines. Mots of them ended with me going. "Ok, what just happened?"

I bet a lot of people won't agree with this, but I didn't "get" Napoleon Dynamite. It was stupid and had no real plot. What the Hell was the point of that movie? Some ugly nerd learning some new dance moves and getting the school to like him? If so, that didn't happen until the very end :/

I third that.
That movie takes stupid to a whole new level. I had its moments, but, man, it was stupid.

And I really didn't get the Secret Window. I couldn't get into it.
