in metal gear 3 snake eater who is the main character coz someone told me it was big boss (wanna make sure) even though there is kno difference!!!!!!????????! ^_^

I have no idea. I've only got up to the cave bit and I'm still not sure. But here's some points to consider.

Highlight for spoilers.

6: Naked Snake is a survival expert, Solid Snake doesn't appear to show these techniques. When you watch Naked Snake snap his bones back into place you get the idea.

well the person who you play as is gotta be big boss coz he gets his eye shot out and big boss has his eye gone so it must be him??? WTF?

Oh so youre stuck with "The End", huh? Just use your thermal gogles, if you have one. You'll sometimes end up shooting mushrooms rather than him.

The End. How I hated that boss. Just let him shoot you once and then look at the map - the point he's at is marked in red. Bear in mind he'll move a couple of minutes after you find him. You'll also need patience. Also, if you find his parrot and kill it (in the southern area, on a pile of logs), he won't be able to heal when you've got him down to his last bit of life. And you don't want that. Trust me.

There's also a cheating method. Save the game whilst fighting him, turn off and don't come back on for a full week. Load up and....

Well, you'll see!

The main character is Big Boss, without a doubt. Just beat the game (cheers for everyone's help by the way.) and it's definately him.

well it is big boss coz when you kill 'the boss' at the end they say "we give you the title of big boss" and big bosses eye is shot out and snakes got his eye and this was before shadow moses(metal gear solid snake for playstation)

the president at the end of the game will personally give Snake the name "Big Boss". And true, this was before the Zanzibar and Shadow Moses incident. One funny thing, too: on MGS2 when Raiden is at the torture chamber Ocelot will say to Solidus,"You're the spitting image of Big Boss." that's because the Snake on MGS3(Big Boss) will get his eye shot out by ocelot himself(the young Ocelot)

if you wanna know some easter eggs for mgs3 pm me
such as the hidden cutscenes(press r1 even if it doesn't say) in the president scene hold R1 until your view changes to 1st person then look over to the left to see someone you might know.
