i have only seen clips of mikey and riku nothing of sora in kh2 and i never said you would need chain of memories but then again your lost in that if you haven't played kh1 in chain of memeroirs ... i wanted to know what to expect in kh2 thats why i started this thread hehe ^_^ but yep im going to comment more as i find out more on kh2 but i haven't heard anything...maybe im not looking in the right places but yep i wanted to know if you play as sora and how come i haven't seen anything of sora for kh2

Don't know where you've been looking up info. but KH2 starts with these two dudes, and one is riku. The other is this kid who helps Sora throughout the game. There's also new affects like the fusion techniques with Goofy and Donald. Also, Mulan's world and Twilight Town are included. KH chain of memories serves as a bridge between Kh1 and KH2, so you have to play all 3.

I LOVE kingdom hearts and I locked my self in my room for almost three days playing it (not) but kingdom hearts (as well as final fantasy x) made me love RPG's. I wouldn't have become a game freak if it wasn't for KH or FFX. I was going to get KH:COM for my birthday (thats two days after x-mas Very Happy

) but my parents couldn't find it anywere or they just didn't want to buy me it.

I agree with Flaming_weasal (sorry if i spelt it wrong) I kno that he couldn't but thats so sad when i'm older im gonna be a games designer and im gonna make a game where you can choose the ending and then there will be two games for the second game and if you choose to jump you get one of the games and if you choose to stay you get the other game i think that sounds quite cool....!!!!! Very Happy

yes i will admit the graphics were very very good... especially that ending cinematic...and i liked the halloween town level..... and the lock on feature... also that flying thingy he did..... and those heartless thingys were quite adorable....

but... . . . .

<_< i did NOT like four things about it....
1. camera angles (curse you evil angles of the camera! how dare you ruin my vision)
2. the cheesy corn (so corny... no... maybe cheesy? cheesy corn!)
3. disney characters . . . .

(personally i think the game would have been better without them... especially that damn duck!!! the one that haunts my nightmares Uneasy

)
4. unporportional.... (not a major problem....but it did annoy i and my one sister)... and the view of the upper eyelids... WTF?

overall... i'd give the game a 7 or 8 out of 10..... but on my P.L.L 4.5 out of 10.

i am [u]NOT[/u] saying that the game was horrible, it was OK... but i personally..... did..... not...........like.................it. <_< >_>

i'm probably the only one that does not absolutly love that game..... :lol:

evil people...oh and for samuri_kid, if you think being a video game designers easy, think again. You need at least a bachelors in math and a master's degree in animations and graphics. Then, unless you're the head of the company, you don't deside what game you're gonna make. If you want to make a game with two endings, the big guys got to like your idea first. Also, you can't design a game solo, there's too many parts. Storyline, graphics, coding, animations, configuration, controls, names, programming, testing, functioning, and many other branches of department. Unless you spend 5 years on each, and master all of them, you're not going to make a game anytime soon. On a happier note, KH2 is coming out on June 21, a rough calculation, and will have many new features. Also, there's much more meaning in small things. Even such as the outfit. For Sora's outfit, it's slightly darker with more black to represent the darkness he fought. While having defeated it, the darkness left a permenant scar, emotionally that will take time to heal or never at all. So also to represent the lost friendships and homes. Also, like mentioned before, there are fusion techniques with Donald and Goofy. Unfortunately, you don't always get to use 2 keyblades, only during fusion. The kid in screenshots using to keyblades is actually the kid who helps Sora out throughout the whole game. Also, characters from FFX are in KH2. So, I personally, look forwards to playing it.

I personally liked the inclusion of Disney characters. When I first saw that they had Disney in the game, I thought, "Oh no! The giant corporate Anti-Christ (aka Disney) is going to totally ruin the game!" But, fortunately, I was dead wrong. I think the Disney charas added a lot of flavor to the game.

Though I agree that the camera angles were atrocious at times.

they weren't as good as everyone says they get in the way and take all the experience <_< at the beggining selphie tidus and wakka are cool they are good to beat around at the beggining!!!!!!! ^_^
