"I only speak two languages, English and bad English." -Bruce Willis (Fifth Element)

Yeah. I can speak a little bit of Spanish, and I know some phrases in Latin, but that's about it.

Hahaha...I just thought of something that happened today! My older brother had a basketball game today and he goes to a catholic school where you HAVE to learn how to speak Latin.

So during the game the girls were saying cheers in Latin! My brother said "They were saying stuff like cookie and is my hair nice or something like that..." I thought it was funny...But I know Latin because of him and that the fact that my enrich reading teacher teaches us Latin and Greek words.....

Spainish I know because I'm mexican and almost all my family speaks it so I know alittle...Bad English? Do you mean our language or like in the UK?

English, by default. Spanish, Russian, Italian, and a wee bit of German. I want to learn French, but my will isn't that strong....actually, I haven't picked up a book on it yet. Sometime in the offing, maybe.

Mandarin (I go to learn it every Sunday because my parents are from Taiwan*)

You should know what I mean, but I'll explain anywya. Mandarin is Chinese, but Chinese is confused with some other dialects like Cantonese, taiwanese, etc. etc. etc. So, I decided to say, "Mandarin"!
I thought Taiwan was a Chinese territory, or province.
It was before, but now it's a country fighting for independence.

English and Chinese (Mandarin) ^_^. I can speak Mandarin fluently, but my reading and writing is not as good T_T. I can usually manage to puzzle out the dialogue in a chinese manga, but give me something more complicated and I'm lost T___T.

Decided to update since I've learned more Spanish

someone mentioned they lived in California too  I HIGHLY doubt they're going to make Spanish California's new official language because of ILLEGAL actions Rolling eyes that would be the point where I move to Japan because the US officially got way too dumb for me...

I mean really...what better way to say "don't do that" than adjust for them?

Anywho...

-English (default)
-Japanese (more and more vocab by the day )
-Spanish (barely.... currently studying this one)

Next on my list:

-French (want to get back into this one ^^ )
-Korean (not....a very good response from people when I say this usually )
-Manderin (sp? I always liked this one. Not too fond of Cantonese; just personal taste)

Would like to but probably won't:

-Russian (it's cool ^^ and it's got a cool writing system!)
-Italian
-German (at every school I went to....Spanish, French, and German were like the defaults)

^^ so many languages....so little lifespan

i know a bit of french. i cant carry on much of a conversation with it though. i can understand most of french if it spoken to me but i cant say much if someone were to ask me a question. on french sites i can ALMOST understand the writting, same with hebrew or greek, even though i dont know them. i can catch on somewhat quickly. im told i have an ear for other languages. but french is the one i can understand most, besides the one i use all the time. english.
