I dont know. I just dont feel like playing anymore when all of my characters are at level 99 or Higher(if possible).

Any of you guys feel like that, too?

The RPG game I'm currently not bored with is FF10 since theres a variety of stuff there in the leveling up screen.

Are you nuts!!!!?????!!!! FF10 is the one game I DON'T get bored with when I'm on like, level 90 or something and I can kick everyone's butts. That's cause there's lots of side quests and extra items and stuff. ^_^

I remember once using an unofficial Game Genie code on Final Fantasy 3 (SNES version of FF6), exp. points to the tune of about 4 billion after just the first battle, instantly levelled the entire team to Lv.99 .

And yes, it did make the later bosses too easy.

As for Final Fantasy 10, I completed a lot of the sidequests, got all the ultimate (Celestial) weapons & powered them up... you know that battle where you have to fight Sin while it's building up power for its ultimate attack? The one where it has 140,000 HP? My guys were doing damage to the tune of 10,000 per hit...

Then, more levelling up, capturing a lot of monsters (Capture+Counterattack is an AWESOME skills combination), and that final fight against Seymour . . . by that time, I had Yuna summon Anima, and I used Anima's special attack (not the overdrive, the "Pain" attack) -- 96,000 damage! One-hit KO.

That was SERIOUSLY anti-climactic....

well, that happened to me too before, for lots of other games. That's why I make it a point to battle th efinal boss, BEFORE i get too high of a level. That just kills the fun. After I beat him/her, I load my file again and level up like crazy, complete sidequests, etc.

Well, one game you should never get bored of is Zelda. Even if you have all the items and heart containers, it's a matter of skill. If you suck at fighting, you're already dead.

I get bored yeah, in FF7 all of my charecters are lvl 99, I beat ruby and emerald, discovered a few secrets..got all of their last weapons, and limit breaks, I beat sephiroth and saw the ending, but theres still some mysterious stuff in the game, gah anyways yea I got bored of it.

I got bored of zelda too, if I had all of the heart containers I wont die.., unless I wanted to and thats going to take sometime. Laughing

EVIL j/k Well, I never got bored with any of the Zelda games. Most likely because I was ascaredy cat and never even bothered to go against strong enemies. ( I was scared to sail in the sea in Zelda: Wind Waker cause of the giant octos...><) yep, I'm pathetic when it comes to that sort of game. But give me FF or Skies of Arcadia or something and I'll jump right in.

Have y'all felt that the real fun of playing RPGs is progressing through the levels, not being on top?

yeah, I usually get bored around lvl. 99, but with final fantasy IX I just stopped playing cause everything seemed to move so slow on the last disc. the music changes & there's all this fog everywhere, it all seems so gloomy. which reminds me, I still have to beat that game. Very Happy

FFVII is the best out of all the FF series..well...maybe not but it's really good. I never got bored while playing it. Which reminds me. I have to finish that game too. And Wind Waker, I get to like the last boss in a lot of games and never end up finshing the game.

How good it is, I literally HAD to level up with FFVII, and that caused me to get bored and stop playing. When I get to the point when I KNOW I don't have to train at all, I'm quite content. Then, I know I can progress throughout the storyline as quickly as I please.
As for FFX, the battle against it's head?.....Uh, I was doing a lot more than 10,000.....especially the summons. I whipped out Bahamut and used it's overdrive.....99,999.......Holy would do close to 20,000.........Yea that battle was a joke, but still.....It was my second time through the game ^_^

I really should finish FFVII, FFVIII, and Kingdom Hearts.........

I'm working on Fire Emblem, though ^_^

Yyou didn't finish Kingdom Hearts!!??? Oh well, make sure to finish it up. I beat Fire EMblem ages ago. I'm repeating Hector's story hard mode. The enemies run circles around me in there.

hmmmm...this is me method to get through these kind of games: I finish 3/4 or 1/2 of RPGs then when I get fed up I play another game like Tekken or Gran Turismo. I leave the save files though. then after a few months I feel like getting back to finish them. and I do finish them. It's my process, leave it alone.

I attempt that, but I usually get another RPG or something and end up just starting the game over because I don't remember anything that went on because it had been so long since I last played it. I just restarted Fire Emblem because I found out I should train Matthew A LOT more than I did last time.......tisk tisk.....poor theif......

Hmm...I think I've ever only finished like..2/5 of my game collection. But when I beat a game....I make sure my character is so strong its unbeatable! Yay!
