I found out this really particular thing last night. While I was readin a book, I just suddenly started crying. Not sobbing, boo hoo crying, just like, I had tears falling, I didn't even notice either, which was wierd. What's weirder, it the fact that the part I was reading wasn't sad at all, instead it was violence with humor. O.o so odd, it wasn't until later, that I realized that part was like a replay of a certain even in my life, that was pretty sad and unerving. My friend said that happened to her once too. WTF? So, I want you all to put you head together and think, is it possible that our heart takes in a certain time, or rememberence, and converts it into emotions, such as sorrow, BEFORE our mind notices? I once got really mad for no reason either while playing a game, turns out the part was a carbon copy of a fight I got into...O.o

oh boy, which parts did'nt you really get? I know it's sort of confusing, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I was reading this book and I started crying for no reason. It wasn't even a sad part, did that ever happen to you guys? That's the abstractly short version.

uh..sounds like your "eyes are watering" o.o allergies maybe?

Crying is a full-body emotional thing. Even if you don't make another other sounds, you'd feel it in your chest/throat if you were "sad" enough to cry.

But just "realizing" your eyes are dripping and then thinking back to "hm...come to think of it...I *did* have a pretty bad day" doesn't quite....sound like it.

But to answer the initial topic question...Yes o.o usually when I have a series of stressful events/days/etc I'll be walking home or laying in bed or something.
Usually when I feel "safe", the emotional dam will burst T.T;; not one of my prouder moments but definitely a healty one...

well, what i also was trying to say was, what if like you start crying because say, there's something about the story, or show, or whatever that's making you cry, it's just that, you don't realize why you were crying until AFTER you're done or start to cry. It's confusing to explain.

yeah, something like that. When you start crying, but you have no reason why. Usually it's because your reading or watching something. I guess, it's if you start cryinb but you don't know why. Not because you're eyes are tired or infected, I mean like, that really sad feeling, knot in your throat crying.

I've cried for small reasons that shouldn't really need tears. Like on Friday I had a feeling my friends were mad at me and they wouldn't tell me. Instead of getting really mad (which I woud think is the most likely reaction) I ran into the bathroom stall and cried my eyes out for like twenty minutes. Surprised Its not my proudest moment and I still don't know why the fact that my friends wouldn't say why they were mad at me made me cry. But I felt a little better after I did cry. Like a lot of the butterflies in my tummy had gone away.

Crying is very healthy though. I don't do it often but when I do its always for more reasons than what might be bothering me at the moment. I once began to cry because of the ending to this book but it really just was the opening to me mourning the death of my great grandma which then caused me to cry because I was so scared of going to Hell when I die.

Human emotions are very complex. I don't think we'll ever truely grasp the reasons why we may feel about some events or react to things the way we do. We just accept them I guess. . . . .

yeah, emotions are funny. I think our heart, takes in an event, and changes it into an emotion, and we don't even notice that until we start crying. I'll be crying for like a minute before my mind finallykicks in and tells me why I'm crying. I guess we'll never really understand why emotions are there.
