What field do you plan to go into in the future? If you already have a career, what is it? What would your dream job be? Are you currently majoring in anything? What is it everyone plans to or is currently doing for a living? _________________ |

I was thinking, in the bath, of becoming a male porn star.. But that's not for General discussion *tease*
Anyway.. I Adore photography and animals.. I was thinking maybe do a photography course in college, get some skills, buy a good camera and sell prints as a sort of side-income.. I'm good with people and I'm good at selling and good at retail.. I was going to try and progress up the Asda ladder.. but. I can never get into work on time nor do I work at all fast.. so.. You know.. But I'm also Good at webdesign so that's a definite career possibility..
Also good at philosophy and psychology so maybe something there.. Have some skill in writing but definately need to get back to college if I want to do anything with that.. I'm good with animals too.. I also have high tolerance to unsightly sights and smells so maybe a surgeon's helper dude who doesn't need medical training?? Holding the liver n s**t while he works.. That'd be cool.. I could also be a good police officer!! That'd be hella funny.. They get all the drunk girls outside the clubs on saturday and friday nights  ...Football too, maybe.. (soccer <_< ) But I still need lots of practise and it's only a hobby..
All in all I think webdesign and photography are my fort.. Definately be trying to get back (again <_< ) to college for those.. |

I have no clue what I'm going to do. There are a thousand things I'd love to try but I'm afraid I would either not match up to the competition, or I'd get bored of it in a week. Some stuff I've been thinking about:
*work for NASA (geologist or botanist)
*escavate fossils and mineral samples
*architecture for unique office buildings or hotels
*metal sculpture
*landscape architech
*web design
*roller coaster engineer
*freelance artist (although that would be more of a hobby or part-time job)
*interior designer
*movie costume or set designer
I'm so lost. _________________ |

I'm going to university to study business. Sure, it sounds boring, but one day I shall be a MILLIONAIRE!
Seriously, though, I want to become the director of some game company and prove just how effective a woman can be at the top of a business. |

If it wasn't for the money I'd like to stay as a carer, but it just isn't enough to live on, and I can't spend all my life doing overtime. It's not healthy.
I'd maybe like to be a Learning Disabilities nurse or an Epilepsy nurse. If the chance came up though, I'd love to be a trainer, teaching people in the sector about epilepsy or challenging behavior while still spending some time with clients. However, I'm a bit on the quiet side so although I'm enthusiastic about training, I'm not sure I'd be anyone's first choice as a trainer :(
In a dream world I'd like to be a freelance writer and/or artist, but even if I was I'd still want a regular job for some of the time so I didn't get too lonely and had at least a little bit of a regular income. I'm just considering taking an illustration evening class, which would be a step in the right direction (and if not, it'd still be fun).
So in short, I appear to be dithering |

Sorry to hear that cherry. The government has such an unhealthy attitude towards the whole issue of special needs and statemented children at the moment - I just hope things change in time for your brother to benefit. |

I really want to be just like my highschool break dancing blue grass playing art teacher.
So naturally I want to be an art teacher. But not a high school art teacher. I don't think I could go back to highschool even as a teacher. I would love to be an elementary school art teacher. I love little kids and am pretty good with them. I can handle messes and tantrums they may pull. Plus, I love the smell of elementary schools. In those schools, you can smell crayons, construction paper and cupcakes. But in highschool all you can smell is second-hand smoke. <_< Also, how hard could it be to grade finger paintings of cats and dogs and little houses on little prairies?
But I also plan on getting a big tattoo in college. Don't know how the little kids would react to a teacher with a long rose tattoo going down her arm. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Majoring in illustration next year in Los Angeles. Well, next year is foundation, but I plan on majoring in illustration after that. Maybe graphic design. I wanna work as an in-house designer, either doing illustrations for books, mags, etc. or doing graphic design work like album covers. I'm decent at commercial art like product labels and stuff like that, and it's rather fun. Definitely in-house, though, with a regular paycheck. I couldn't do freelance.
Whatever pays enough to live on. I'm gonna be $80,000 in debt after graduation. And that's including my scholarships and the fact the folks will pay my living expenses. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I'm still in high school, but I want to become a art illustrator/cartoonist and make comics and doujinshi someday. I got all my college plans done....but to be honest, I don't think I have what it takes to be a good comic artist Oh well, that will be my life-long struggle I suppose.. |

I've got two months of school left. Planning on going to University, but my results in August will determine where I go. Heading for a course in computer programming, but the actual one's still to be decided. In Scotland you don't have to pay tuition fees, you just pay back your student loan after you graduate, so there won't be too much strain on finances when I finish. _________________ "You know what?
