Well, who is your fav. musician live or dead, some one who changed you, made you think, made you become who you are now, or just who rocks beyond all possible belief.

for me it's prolly Kurt Cobain, (check the side) :wub:

I think there may be something like this already but I'm not sure. Its fallen's problem to deal with so I'll leave this up to her.

Steve Tyler is more than a rock god. He is a legend among rock gods. Forty years in the rock gig and he's still performing like he's twenty-three. Cool

His voice is very pleasing to listen to and almost everyone around the world can identify him with just a tape of him singing. Even if people don't know who Aerosmith is, they know who Steve Tyler is. He's inspired future rock gods such as Slash to take up performing and rock 'n roll.

Speaking of which, thats another rock god who deserves props. Slash. In terms of guitar playing, I believe that he stands above the rest. His riffs are immortal and will always be something that must be played by anyone who picks up a guitar. He does what he loves and he shows it. He's the complete opposite of a crappy angsty rocker which is very bitchin'. If you think that a depressed rocker is sexy, wait until you see an anti-jaded rock star like Slash. Thats sexy right there. :wub: He's inspired me to take up the guitar (along with Randy of the Ozzy Osbourne band) even though I may never get the chance. But if I do, the first thing on my agenda would be to learn the solo for November Rain. I think Flea said that the ending is all in the E chord but I could be wrong...I need to ask Flea for some help. Sad

But thats all for now. I'll mention more when I feel like it. ^_^

No, I kid, just wanted to include his name on a "rock gods" thread for my own amusement. I could probably BS a reason for him to be my "rock god" as far as personal influence on me, but that would be lame. And boring. Except for his drunken nights on the internet, but that has little to do with being a "rock god".

I have to agree with you. Him, Duff McKagan, and whoever is the bass player for AC/DC have always been inspirations for me to almost want to play the bass.
