doesn't really matter if you havn't played the 1st or the 2nd; its a pre-quel! w00t w00t go buy it! you get a friggin' guitar as a weapon and it can be used for your listening pleasures ....for about ten minutes then you hafta go kick some more demon butt. woohoo!

I read up on how to defeat those stupid phantom things, so now I can finally continue ^_^
...But is it just me, or do the graphics look bad? I mean on Dante, mainly...Plus they changed his voice Sad

yeah i dont like the voice in some cutscenes he just doesn't sound right he sounds like a little kid instead of the bad-ass we all know and love

The phantom thing that is the very first boss. (Can't remember the proper title.)

Then I guess it's just me about the graphics....Oh no, the story part of the game (when they're explaining about Dante and his brother), the graphic are very nice. But I mean the sub part......Wow, I'm confusing ^^'

That's one of the very few problems I had with the game. Curse them...Changing his voice...I liked the old one better *Frowns*.

im letting someone borrow the best game of all time i mean dmc3 heh
so i cant check for the name but yeah ...do the code and you can unlock his other costumes (the ones from 1 and 2 and quicksilver dante[unlimited devil trigger and quicksilver time] and some other costume... i dunno what it does but its vergil but the shadow is a devil trigger shadow) and the alternate difficulties and art galleries and motion capture videos(really cool)

you can do a code to get alternate costumes, art galleries, movies, and difficulties
that pretty much sums it up i think...so did you kill that grim reaper thingie? for did you just find out how to?

No, a few days ago I read up that you had to attack it from the behind....I tried to kill it from the front with my sword, and shooting it T_T

do the code beat it on heaven or hell mode and you'll have everything (heaven or hell mode is everything is killed with one shot or stab even you) hold all the top buttons and rotate the left stick and it will make a sound just start your game and there ya go

I don't play the Devil May Cry series. My brother does. I watch 'im play.....then he switched to another game when he reached the first fight with Virgil...or something......sometimes I don't understand my brother.

What happened to Dante's voice?....Awkward, yeh....

My brother is the game freak, but I play PS2 games (like, Devil May Cry, Hack//Sign...ect...) though he plays Kingdom Hearts...

Yip, I can't believe the changed his voice T_T Did they change is in the second game? I never noticed.

I played the second one, and I beat it with the girl (Dante version was hard...).
