5/5 I like the colors my favorite one is the bottom one its so cool and ok I have no idea what to say execpt I like it :D

Sketches are hard to rate, but I'm afraid I have to settle on a 2 of 5 for that one. It's too bright, hard to discern. Do you know how to adjust your scanner's exposure (brightness) settings? You should be able to find them in the menus of your scanner utility program.

Im still one of the old school when I answer here and go by 1-10 scale. Amy I love your animations, and the latest stuff youve been producing is excellent. have thoughts back to Arizona in this one? I think it was Arizona. anyway this is an 8/10 and Im a hard rater too.

thought Id let you rate this inking of "Girl Power 3." the picture has been flat painted and the shading is going on as I type this. everytime I post a picture, the rater of it loves to pick it apart....so go on and pick Razz

"School" is precisely why I hate the 1-10 scale.

If you're just going to give an opinion, no criteria or points to count up and score, 1-5 is an easy scale to use (dismal/bad/average/good/perfect). 1-10 is a little harder to define, and it just gets messier if you introduce "halves" into it (like "7.5/10". What's a 7? What's an 8? What's a 7.5?)

In other news, I give dA's 2005 Summit Announcement a 1 out of 5 because it hijacked my trying to view DaBear's picture.

As for you, DaBear... well, it's not really my style, and being WIP, hmm... tough call. I'll give it 4 of 5 for the details.

Next up, this one took DG-Sama's character contest by surprise, and ended up winning first place.

... Okay.. so rating it out of 5. I would say 3. It's pretty good. The proportions are all good. Darker shades in the hair as well as the highlights would be cool.

Very clean, colorful image. Your stuff is always awesome! I love the black boarder style with the red text running up and down, too. A little more work could have been put into the sky, I guess, but maybe that would have taken away from the character. I dunno.

Yeah, it's not recent work, but it's something. I drew it on Paint and shrunk it to make the lines look smoother. Too bad I don't have a vector art program.

O_O OMG it's Sanzo fanart! <3 Sanzo = love, btw. :P

Anyway, I'd give it a 4/5. Because his hair is kinda wonky; that bit of hair sticking up looks a little odd. The smoke doesn't really look like cigarette smoke: cigarette smoke tends to go up in wisps rather than puffs.

I love his expression, though. XD

As for me...

Land Dragon; it's the most recent thing I've put up (because I'm lazy and I don't draw very often - or, at least, pictures I feel are worth scanning in). The only thing I'll say about my dragon is that I absolutely [i]hate[/i] the proportioning. ><

EDIT: Okay, a quick tip for L7 (I took a glance at the picture): when you colour something, make sure the strokes are [b]all[/b] going in the same direction. It's also generally not a good idea to colour solidly or really hard "till [your] wrists hurt and [you] get a sore on [your] finger......"

The attention to detail is great. Maybe a more natural stance would give it some life and not make it look quite so stagnant. Other than that, great drawing.

I love your work Strata! The reflections on the wings on they flying one are very convincing. I love the flying one, and I'm not usually fond of your art. Good job! 9/10.

Uh...yeah....Zero Rain. I'm not very fond of chibi. I like the expression and costume! But you could have done a better job coloring. The goggles are cute too. Razz

Great variety of expressions! It seems to lack shading and the lines could be cleaner, but I understand it's a sketch. I'm always afraid of coming off as a jerk when I rate these pics, but I tend to save 4s and 5s for masterpieces that take forever to complete.
